i don’t think the world would ever be ready for this duo to come together. if sega put these two together for longer than a minute their sassiness would cause a tear in the universe. there’s a reason why they have the same personality type.

even evan stanley agrees this duo would have the potential to be total drama queens together. my only question is WHEN? im dying to see them together more in media.

in this scene you can see sonic’s back quills stick out when shadow pins him against the tube. a hedgehog will typically stick out their quills when they are scared or sense danger. this small detail is so cool and i want to see more forms of media do this

what if shadow was apart of the frontiers story? what if shadow had to watch as sonic slowly endured a painful cyber corruption? and what if seeing someone so full of life and energy suddenly start wearing down reminds him of a certain person he was supposed to take care of who suffered from a condition that put her into remission?

basically i should stop talking because the only words that come out are hurtful

the moon scene between sonic and shadow was so beautiful. them talking out their feelings and their traumas together was something we needed. i feel like the games should take inspo from the movies and learn that sonic and shadow can have very serious and interesting conversations. they don’t hate each other, nor are they incapable of being in the same room as each other (as tails channel plays it out to be). they are actually very capable of opening up to each other and not always fighting or bickering. i feel like their dynamic has been lost in transition over the years.
