I will link my reviews to these entries when i wrote them.

MazeCave

I've come to the conclusion that flat demon girls are super hot. Today we're talking about the game MazeCave; developed by Tokyo Dairy.

Story:

300 years after the demon lord (aka you) was defeated, Mona (a demon) wakes you up. And with her help, you turn the Magic Mountain (which was your resting place) into a mana farm to get back to your full strength.

Gameplay:

It's a management game where you collect mana, which also serves as your currency, by luring adventurers into tentacle traps and leeching off their mana while they're climaxing.

Final Score:

Story: C

There is not much story in this game, but the few interactions between characters is fun.

Gameplay: D

Despite being a decent management game which is actually challenging at the beginning, i was basically done on day 20-25 and i had to wait until day 35 which was a tad boring. Fortunately, you can speed up the game so you don't have to wait that long.

Hentai: B

Mona is the main reason why i picked up this game. She is so damn cute and sexy! I really love her! The drawn CGs are good too, although i'm not that into tentacles and some of them were a little bit too much for me. Speaking of tentacles, the pixel animations are pretty good and that's the main thing you'll see during your gameplay (excluding Mona).

Playtime: ~6h

I'm unsure how long it took since i just let the game run in the background while waiting for the days to go by.

Overall: C

The first half of the game was pretty fun! Sadly, once you unlocked everything from the research/ability, it's over. Still, i'd recommend it if you like tentacles or management games.

Mirage's Defection

To be honest with you: (preventable) NTR is a perfect element for hentai games. It adds so much to a game. Today we're talking about the game Mirage's Defection; developed by Chima Lab.

Story:

Several months ago, another war between humans and monsters broke out, leading to the sacrifice of the hero for peace. But despite that, it seems like the forces of the Demon King have targeted the castle in Spenia to retrieve a certain treasure. It's defended by moving between locations, getting swapped with a fake one, and remaining there for a few months, but monsters started attacking relentlessly. 21 days to defend the treasure remain, but it seems like someone has succesfully infiltrated. Will the Special Treasure Defense Line be able to hold out or will the treasure be taken away?

Gameplay:

It's a story-driven game where you walk around and interact with people and objects to help you defend the treasure. Each day something happens and you try to solve the problems, setting up stuff, studying, etc. However, do not keep doing the main objective or you might miss something. Sometimes there's even a character change where you can see what happens in their point of view. Note: This game does not contain any fighting.

Final Score:

Story: S

I'm starting this by talking about my first playthrough where i went for the true route. I was really hooked on the story. Problems showed up and they had to resolve it all while time breathed down their neck. And the true end was pretty bitter-sweet. I really enjoyed this story! I played a second time and i watched both endings of the "worst NTR route" (both are NTRed) and ending 2 is really bad. I don't want to spoil anything, except that is a really sad one. One thing that i disliked though was that you could choose to do the NTR stuff, i'd prefer it more if it would be based on choices you've made.

Gameplay: C

I love the idea of trying to find information and thus unlocking new conversation parts. Sadly, it kinda was mostly just there to reduce the affection toward Kurone. Anyway, there's not much to say about the gameplay except watch out for the conversation choices because they can increase or decrease your relationship to these characters.

Hentai: A

Every girl is super hot and every scene really fits into the story. I learned that Luna will do more naughty stuff during the day if you agree during the night parts. Personally, i like Luna the most. However, Kurone is perfect for the NTR job. She is indeed really seductive and her aggressive flirting fits well into the game. I'm a little bit sad that Kotori doesn't have a route in this game, but this is only the beginning of the series. And i kinda wish that the scenes would be a bit longer.

Playtime: 8.45h = 6h (First Playthrough) + 2.45h (Second Playthrough)

It's a decent length. However, i think that the walking around part, just to see if some new info is somewhere, makes the game artificially longer. I don't mind it too much, since the story itself has a great pace and that is the main selling point. Furthermore, because of these 6 hours, almost all of the characters grew on me. Especially Defense Member C, i really like this guy.

Overall: A

All in all, Mirage's Defection is a pretty good game! I'm a huge fan when hentai scenes are woven into the story instead of defeat scenes or story-independant stuff. The story had me completely hooked and seeing it unfold, revealing twists and turns was very enjoyable. Mirage's Defection and Tear of the Crypt play at the same time of the timeline and both of them are the start of a series and i'm really looking forward to how the story will develop.

Minesweeper

This game is really damn hard. Today we're talking about the game Minesweeper; developed by Microsoft.

Story:

Being created back in 1990, Minesweeper was packed in every Windows version from 3.1 to 8. Although it being a standard software for many years, not many know how to play it.

Gameplay:

I'm giving you a short info dump, but i can't do much more since i'm only okay and i don't know any tricks. So the number on a field says how many mines are in the adjacent (including diagonals) fields are. And based on elimination of aspects, you can determine where the mines should be. Good Luck!

Despite being very simple gameplay, it's really hard to master and you need to keep your focus (and sometimes have luck).

So i figured that i'm either posting a review every two months or don't have a fixed schedule anymore and post a review whenever i got the time.

Life Pressure

I think this is the worst one I've played so far. Today we're talking about the game Life Pressure; developed by PixxG.

Story:

Our protagonist Amira is late to work due to feeling unwell. Her colleague suggests that she should do some yoga to sleep better at night. Now she works to earn enough money for the yoga registration.

Gameplay:

There are 3 minigames. One is completing paper work, another is doing yoga and the last one is going to sleep:

Paperwork -> You click on 3 squares and then on 1 circle. Repeat that 20 times in a given time limit.

Yoga -> You gotta do a quick time event with the arrow keys. Do several for one session and decrease your stress (and energy) stat.

Sleep -> You play a memory game. You play until your stress meter reaches to 0 within the given time limit.

You also need to manage your 4 stat blocks: stress, energy, food and water. If you don't have enough energy, then you are not able to work or do yoga. Fortunately, there is a supermarket where you can buy items which restore your energy, food and water. But be mindful, the office and the yoga studio aren't open the whole day. Speaking of time: The pressure in life is the time moving forward. Your day starts at 7:45 am everytime you go to bed.

Final Score:

Story: F

There is nothing you can talk about because everything after what i wrote in the story part is non-existant. But you could say that this game is a bit poetic because there is no end goal in life and you go from day to day without an end in sight. Another interesting fact is that Amira colleague is called "Colleague Amira".

Gameplay: F

This game did not feel playtested at all. You get a tutorial for the paperwork minigame, but not for the yoga one. The food and water stat blocks aren't even relevant. Those stats don't do anything. To add to this, the sleeping minigame doesn't even properly work because your stress meter can go below 0 and then you're stuck in an infinite sleeping loop. When you're in that loop, it's over because it's a deadlock. Even worse: The time moves really really slow. 1 in-game minute takes 2 real-life seconds and you have to wait because the yoga studio opens at 2pm. And your day starts at eight in the morning. Now imagine going through all that and then get stuck in the sleeping loop (which will most likely happen). Literally a waste of time.

Hentai: F

They don't tell you how to get the H-scenes, it's by losing the minigames. The only part that is fun. The hentai itself is not very good. I like the pixelart itself, but the movement is what makes it bad. It looks like Amira is a robot.

Playtime: 30 Minutes

90% of the game you just wait for time to pass.

Overall: F

I pretty much explained the whole game to you. There is nothing else.

After writing this review i wanted to close the game. The last thing i saw was "The Game has encountered a bug." and i think this sums it up pretty well.

Parallel Relief

Can you call this hentai game an isekai? Today we're talking about the game Parallel Relief; developed by udou workshop.

Story:

One day you get teleported to another world full of fantasy. To your surprise Azusa, a girl from another class got transported here too. Turns out that the mage Luna summoned you both to this world to help her defeat the demon lord. Receiving the classes Paladin for Azusa and Alchemist for you, all of you realize that you're way too weak to go and fight the demon lord. Fortunately, a top adventurer of the town, Elk, decides to train you all. Thus your training begins, but not only that you are actually able to go back to your home world! What kind of fantasies and sad realities are you going to encounter?

Gameplay:

It's a rpg game while trying to prevent that you're getting ntr'ed. Each day is split up into morning, evening and night. During the morning part, you do the story related things, like going on a quest or getting something from the modern world. Evening is essentially free time to explore the city and improve your affection with one of the girls. Night is another free time slot, but there is not much to see except talking to some npc who give you materials. I'll let you figure out how the ntr mechanics work. (hehe) A little advice: Try to get Azusa or Luna to love you within the first week or you get a bad end/game over!

Final Score:

Story: B

The story itself was good, but i didn't understand what was going on in the epilogue. However, this game has 12 Endings and the characters talk differently to you after they've cheated on you which is a nice touch.

Gameplay: A

Surprisingly, this game was quite difficult if you didn't prepare properly and even then i had some parts which were still difficult. The gameplay loop wasn't bad either and balancing out the affection with Elk was cool too. One minor issue i had was earning money, until i got the jobs.

Hentai: A

The artstyle is really pretty! And that both Azusa and Luna each have their scenes, it makes that better! You can even go for the double love route and have a threesome with them! I had some troubles unlocking the jobs though and i'm unsure how they get unlocked, but they're nice cosplay scenes with Azusa and Luna wearing outfits from both worlds. One thing that was bad though is that Renji basically serves no purpose and you can easily skip his NTR stuff, unlike with Elk where you need to plan things.

Playtime: 5.2h

A decent length, but i was forced to grind 2 times. Fortunately, i was able to make it insanely fast and i'm going to share this secret technique: Spam visit the cave in the Morgude Mountain Path since the materials respawn each time you change scenes and there, all 4 kinds can be collected efficiently.

Overall: A

I really like the concept of the ntr part and the setting. Although i wished that there was more to do in the modern world. Despite that, it's a good game!

Natsu no Sagashimono ~What We Found That Summer~

It's summertime! And to celebrate that i got another fantastic game! Today we're talking about the game Natsu no Sagashimono ~What We Found That Summer~; developed by Peco Games Studio.

Story:

It's Summer break and on the 1st of August Natsu and his parents drive to the countryside where Natsus aunt lives. The visit becomes short though as Natsus dad gets a call from work saying that he has to work tomorrow (due to 3 people taking free time). Saddened by this, Natsu asks if he can stay at Misakis place and all of them agree to have him stay for the whole month. The following days Natsu meets new people too like Aoi, Chitose, Kotohana and Koume So now it's 31 days of summer and good times awaiting the gloomy Natsu.

Gameplay:

Although this game is build in RPGMaker, it's actually a point and click game. You got 31 days (30 are playable) to enjoy summer and the days are filled with events like meeting people or interacting with them. But it takes time and your day is split up into 6 time parts. 4 for the day and 2 for nightly adventures. When these are used up, the next day starts. Later on, you can even catch bugs and go fishing.

Final Score:

Story: S+

This game feels so nice to play! It's laid-back, the characters are super good and i had a great time reading the small talk, events, etc. Eventually, you get to the point where the story routes begin and you learn more stuff about the girls. Their happiness and their hardships. You learn to love them even more. It often made me teary-eyed too.. In all honesty, this might be my favourite story of all hentai games i've played. Just to think that this is Peco Games Studios first game really makes me excited to see what kinds of stories they'll produce in the future! As the time of writing, i replayed the beginning and there were some things that were foreshadowed. Oh by the way, Aoi is my favourite character!

Gameplay: B

The gameplay part is fine. You breeze through these 30 days like it's nothing. Sadly, there's not that much to do other than catch bugs, go fishing and experience the events. But it's cool that there are still locations being unlocked until the very end. I kinda wish that there was more to do (like minigames), but due to that i got to enjoy the small talk bits a lot.

Hentai: A

There are a few scenes, but i actually appreciated that. The hentai stuff took a step back and made the story part feel more important, which was such a good decision. Additionally, these scenes were overall pretty good!

Playtime: 16.6h

(15.2h + 1.4h for the post-game) At first it took me 6.5h to complete Aois route, where i didn't get to the full 30 days. Then it took me another 2.5 hours to see the routes of Koume and Kotohana. To get the full experience, i also got through Misakis and Chitoses routes assuming that it was post-game content. However, i was a very surprised to learn that the Day XX stuff is actually part of the story. What's crazy is that there's even post-game content where the devs encourage you to enjoy summer one more time!

Overall: S

This game was just beautiful! So if you want to experience something fun, tear-jerking and laid-back, i can really recommend this to you! Before i forget: whenever you complete a heroine route, they'll be added to the main menu screen! Oh and there are post-story text files located in an Extra Folder so you get a nice bonus!

Luna Kurokami's Revenge

I really want to fuck Luna. Today we're talking about the game Luna Kurokami's Revenge; developed by CryWave.

Story:

Luna's parent were killed when she was young, since then she swore to kill the man that took the life of her parents. Being raised in an orphanage, she gets trained and became a bounty hunter. After time passes, she gets the opportunity to kill but instead she gets caught. Since the murderer, Coleman, took an ancient book which had the witch Maura sealed within. However, Maura also gives Luna a helping hand. Thus, allowing her to escape and start her revenge anew.

Gameplay:

It's your standard rpg. You enter dungeons and fight monsters until you get to the boss. But the interesting part is that upgrading your character uses money and you need to manage that, until you get the opportunity to get a good income. Some monsters drop money, as well as they can be found in the dungeon itself. You need other components too which the monsters drop.

Final Score:

Story: C

It's straight-forward and i like that Luna has character development. Unfortunately, they started including quantom mechanics out of nowhere and that was a little bit difficult to follow.

Gameplay: C

The hardest thing about this game were actually the fights against normal monsters. Specifically against multiple ones since they can easily deal a ton of damage. Well, until you get the equipment bracelet that lets you stun the enemy with your normal attacks. The bosses are extremely easy, like you won't have troubles at all against them. I should mention that i played on hard, meaning that normal mode might be even more than a walk in the park. There is a daytime mechanic too, but to be honest it does nothing and is most likely there to make the game feel more natural.

Hentai: S

In my opinion, one of the best H-Scenes. Luna is so unbelievable hot and the situations are really nice! Some of the scenes even have multiple corruption stages. And i fell in love with the artstyle. It has been a good amount of time since i was that horny for the scenes. The last one might be Enishia and the Binding Brand.

Playtime: 2.3h

The game is pretty short, but the H-scenes combined are basically the longest part of the game

Overall: A

I extremely enjoyed the H-scenes and there is a lot of fucking going on. It might actually be one of the games with the highest sex per minute ratio.

Scars of Summer

I've missed June aka the start of summer. I hope i haven't scarred you. Today we're talking about the game Scars of Summer; developed by Shinachiku-castella. & Zigu

Story:

Keita (aka you) is going to move away from the countryside in a month. By begging, he was able to stay for that duration at his neighbours home with Ryoka and Saki. During that time, he aims to ask her out. Despite being the basketballs ace, Ryoka is a bit of a country bumpkin and many people have their eyes set on her. Will you be able to confess to her or will she be stolen from you?

Gameplay:

Starting from the 21th of july Keita lives with Saki and Ryoka. Although you play until the 28th of august, each day is relatively short since each time you change your location uses up 25 in-game minutes. During that time, you can spend time with Ryoka (for example going to the beach) or do stuff alone (e.g. working). Depending on what you do, you'll get points in either Bond, Fitness, Knowledge and/or Life. These are used for making your way through certain locations containing very important memories lost to time. However, while you do solo adventures, Ryoka's life also goes on and if you're not careful, some other people will force their way in and spend time with her. So your objective is to find these memories while not having Ryoka stolen from you.

Final Score:

Story: B

I like the daily events and the chat you get when you're doing stuff with Ryoka. The memory re-gaining has some nice scenes too. Sadly, spending time with Ryoka is pretty repetetive which is very unfortunate because you keep seeing the same events and you don't really want to let go of her since that can trigger NTR events. I do enjoy the slow h-scene starts where it takes some scenes until very lewd stuff happens. This makes it feel more natural. Another natural and cool thing is that daily events occur at some pre-determined dates which deepens the bond between the two of you. (Although some get cancelled if you don't have the requirements for it) As well as Ryoka choosing to spend time with the other characters sometime, leading to you not being able to do stuff with her (most of them lead to H-Events though).

Gameplay: C

Let's talk about my experience while going for the happy route first: It was a bit of a challenge to balance out collecting the memories and not having Ryoka getting stolen from you since you can only go alone to the places where the memories are located in. Sadly, once you're done collecting the memories, the gameplay becomes quite stale. You're basically glued to Ryoka since the scenes don't start when you're going around together. Furthermore, money is kinda pointless since you need most of it for scenes with Saki and the other stuff that you can buy to gain an advantage for yourself are more or less useless. However, due to spending 25 in-game minutes to change scenes you can quite easily miss Ryoka and only having 3 cellphone uses a day to call Ryoka (if you don't use the charger item) makes her hard to find sometimes. Even though her location is shown on the map. Plus the fact that she does normal stuff as well as doing NTR stuff, makes it harder to locate her sometimes. And sometimes, when you're "deep" into a route, she won't spend time with you. So the gameplay is good except for when you lose your solo adventuring purpose and that being finding these 4 memories.

Hentai: A

If you weren't aware: Shinachiku-castella does the best depiction of ugly bastards. Like they're really ugly. But the girls are really well drawn. In addition to the great CGs, the story leading to these scenes make them even more impactful. One big complain is that scenes from the characters get unlocked only after seeing their route ending.

Playtime: 5.6 hours

It drags on a little bit too much. Like the days themselves are surprisingly pretty well made. Like you don't have that much time each day and you got to juggle things a little bit. The issue is that the last couple of days feel like a drag so if the amount of days were a little bit shorter, it would've been even better! I don't think that you can see every route in one playthrough (meaning the non-route-locking scenes).

Overall: B

To be honest, i was avoiding this game for a good amount of time. I was scared that it made me feel really bad, but it wasn't THAT bad. Although, i only watched/played Masaurus, Daisukes route from start to finish and the other ones only partially. Oh and Daisuke is actually my favourite character!

Karryn's Prison - Mini-Review

Let's start this mini review by saying that i got a skill issue.

The Game is developped by Remtairy and it's actually a pretty good game. The scenes are really good. The story is fun too and the gameplay is a challenge.

But this is where the issue lands. The game is really fucking hard. I played twice on Warden Mode. I fucked my first playthrough because i wanted to see the bar scene and that snowballed into just trying to survive the fuckery of fucking, so i decided to start again and play it more safe and cool, which actually worked really well!

However, since i already spent around 40-50 hours, i wanted to see how the final boss fight looks and it was a long fight that i lost. Yeah i could've upgraded more and done some other stuff, but i actually grew tired of the gameplay loop due to it feeling like i didn't really make any advancements.

That lead into me losing the boss fight and thus i decided to quit because i didn't even see the boss after fighting 4 waves of enemies.

I just didn't want to go back to grinding, especially since the Warden mode is recommended to first time players and i find it too difficult/unrewarding. For example you either fight the enemies or fuck them later on. But i had so much trouble fighting after beeing too horny and i didn't understand how to do the sex fight properly and that felt quite punishing, leading to my motivation falling and quitting.

But still, i fully recommend you to give it a go! It was a great learning experience, it's quite a challenge and i'm sure you'll do better than me!

I'll give the game an A.

It has the potential to be an S-tier game. However, i played enough and due to my fun/motivation to continue dropping, it's going to be an A tier game.

Fallen GF

I thought of it as a "dating game" and i was actually scared to see the NTR Endings. Today we're talking about the game Fallen GF; developed by engawamania.

You can buy it on steam and dlsite. There's a patch available on OTAKU PLAN's website.

Story:

Summer vacation has started and you, Takashi (customizable name), and your childhood friend decided to become a "temporary couple". Because you have the feeling that you're basically "family", since you've known and helped each other for a long time, and you're running away from a relationship with Shion, despite the fact that the two of your are in love with each other. Shion sets the deadline to the last day of summer vacation for this temporary one to turn into a real one.

Gameplay:

You get 10 days to sort out your relationship with Shion. Each day is divided into Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Night and Midnight so you have 50 turns to act. Each turn you can explore the city and with enough luck, you can find events that progress your love with Shion or something that gets in the way. These are shown via speech bubbles above the relevant characters (mostly Shion). Posts on Tweeter and SNS are helpful tips where to find Shion. If there aren't any events happening (or you want to skip them), you can kill time and skip to the next time slot.

Final Score:

Story: A

I really enjoyed the characters! Rino was really fun to interact with, Shion was very cute and Ayano delivered the goods. The backstory that you get when spending time with Shion made me want to do the pure love route even more. Hell, i would've asked her out myself haha. The one thing that is really stupid however, is that in order to get the pure love ending, you need to see EVERY event of that route and there are times where other interesting things can happen and you're probably going to get the bad end or one (or more) of the NTR Endings in your first playthrough.

Gameplay: D

It was cool trying to find Shion via the Tweeter Posts and it was interesting to find scenarios and stuff on the map, when you turn off the NTR hints. Sadly, you're just walking around and skip turns if you don't have any events going on which makes the game feel empty sometimes. It's feeling more "empty" if you got the hints on and can already tell if there is a scene or not. So i suggest that you should turn off the hints in the options during your first playthrough. But what i noticed is that the behaviour of Shion changes if you trigger the NTR Scenes, like being less availabe. Side Note: You can unlock all NTR endings in one run, but not the pure love route.

Hentai: C

The scenes are nice especially because the girls are really cute! The biggest downside is that you're only getting to see a few scenes when you're playing. The many other scenes are tied to the endings and it kinda sucks not being able to see them in a normal/pure love run. I mean it makes sense that they are tied to the endings, but i'd prefer it more if more scenes were in the gameplay part.

Playtime: ~6h

Since i got the bad end in my first playthrough (3h), i tried to get the pure love route and see some other scenes. Turns out that the pure love route is taking up almost all of the time slots (or there aren't really events going if you got "free time"). So i replayed the game several times, which was still a nice time because i skipped the seen scenes, until i gave up and completely focused on the pure love route.

Overall: B

This game has good and bad things going. Personally, i really loved the characters and the NTR hurt my soul (which is great because i got the check that i'm not immune to NTR). I can recommend it, but i can also see why people wouldn't like it that much. However, i think that preventable NTR is like one of the best hentai game genres! Btw the trailer on the steam page makes it sound more like a mystery game, but (although there is a sad backstory) it's not really that. Wouldn't call it false advertising though.

Castle of Temptation

I really love monster girls!! Today we're talking about the game Castle of Temptation; developed by Poring aka Isis and Merry Companions.

Story:

You went to the Castle to get your adventurers liscense. The castle, despite being used as a social place, acts as testing grounds to prove the power and spirit of wannabe adventurers. The missions of the adventurers are exploring and do cultural exchanges. Additionally, they get a lot of bonuses and that's why it's so loved as a career path. Each test is to show your resolve, while you try to get to the finish line.

Gameplay:

It's a straight forward 2D platformer. You try to complete the objective of the 4 (5) stages and avoid being caught by the monster girls. If that happens, they'll try to make you cum. And if you cum too much, you'll get a game over. Sometimes it's difficult to dodge them, but you get the chance to escape by spamming the left and right key.

Final Score:

Story: C

Simple story nothing that worth to talk about except that every stage does feel lively due to the small introduction. Oh it seems like there's more than one ending, but i think that you need to complete hard mode. (Tell me if you know how to get them)

Gameplay: C

Each stage felt unique and the platforming was okay and the difficulty increased with each stage too. However, i really like the fourth stage! It was challenging and i liked the overall theme. The platforming was a bit wonky at times (like rapidly swapping between walking and falling animation on slopes), but there really was no issues otherwise.

Hentai: C

It's surpising how many i didn't even see. The animations are very good, but i saw some fetishes (like unbirthing) that weren't really to my liking. However, I really love the succubus that chills in the pre-boss room!

Playtime: 1.3h

A short, yet interesting experience. However, the third stage can be completed multiple times since you need to do 4 trials and you got probably 12 that you can do and i learned (via the gallery) that i didn't see everything. So i guess it can round up to 3 hours to complete it 100%

Overall: C

I kinda hope that the game get additional stages that get even more hard, but not like on an unfair bs level, because the first few were quite easy. This game has potential though, if it gets more updates. I'd only buy it if there's a sale (just like any other game).
