#tlou spoilers #for the game as well #but god this scene sets up the ending so well #i feel like this was such a great addition to the game's plot #that makes joel's choice at the end so much more inevitable #he feels like he's failing to save ellie #sarah too but he's also explicitely talking about ellie #about all the times he feels like he failed to protect her #it sets up so nicely the lengths he'll go to to get her back from david #and then in the end when he has to make that choice #save her or not #it becomes so much more clear this is the only choice joel could ever make #not just because he cares for her #but because he feels like he's failed this daughter - in sarah and ellie - all his life #how could he NOT choose to save her when he finally can #at whatever cost #for people who will not have spent dozens of hours playing as joel in the game i feel this scene is gonna be instrumental #in understanding why joel makes the choice he does #and while we're on it i also think it's so smart that we haven't been shown joel being truly violent yet #we've only heard what he's capable of and we've listened to him walking up to a kid crying for his mom and stab him like jesus christ joel #but we haven't seen it #we haven't seen the joel robert was so afraid of #the one maria mistrusts so much #and we'll meet that joel in the scene with the map and david's men i feel #it's gonna be awful #god i'm so excited #the last of us #the last of us spoilers

well I just cancelled my prime membership. What an astonishingly bad move from Amazon. To “upgrade” their music service by taking away the option to choose what song I want to play and when. What good is access to all the songs in the world if I can’t listen to them when I want? Cannot for the life of me understand this decision and I hope it’ll lose them millions of customers.
