“Yes. I’ve never been able to handle scary movies all that well, so I try to not watch them when I can. When I’m forced to watch them, though, yeah...I’m terrible.”

LOOKING FOR MUTUALS! Please like this post (or comment down below) if you’re interested? I’ve been in the rp community here on Tumblr for at least ten years, +/- a year or two, so I’ve been around a decent length of time, particularly back in the days of Superwholock. I’ve written extensively for the Harry Potter, Merlin, Supernatural and Marvel fandoms, to name just a few - although lately I’ve been sticking mostly to RPGs so I’m admittedly a little rusty on the fandom-specific writing.

The music was insanely loud and it was giving Diamond a migraine and for once, she was not in the mood to drink, or go wild. This time it hadn’t been her idea to go out, having been dragged there by one of her dance instructors from the studio - something about a birthday, but who’s birthday she couldn’t even begin to guess. Tired from a long day of work, Diamond wanted nothing more than to go home, cuddle with her son for a bit and then sleep, but alas, that clearly wasn’t in the cards for her that night. 

Wincing as the dancer beside her practically screamed her ears bloody trying to be heard over the music, Diamond simply sighed and shook her head, “What?...Huh - oh...you want another drink? Yeah, I’ll go get you one.” Anything to escape your company, she silently bemoaned as she slid out of the booth and began making her way towards the bar area, weaving through the throng of people, only to suddenly find herself stumbling forward and just barely managing to catch her balance as a body knocked into her from the side, and an elbow catching her directly in the ribcage. "Shit!” was all she could manage to say as she flinched back, hissing at the pain as she doubled over slightly to clutch at her side. Yep...I definitely should have just stayed the fuck home.

It was late. She didn’t know what time it was exactly, but if the pitch blackness of the streets below were any indication, she’d make a guess at it being around midnight. Of course, she didn’t really care how late it was. Diamond was in the company of one of her best friends and the world outside Nathan’s apartment had little significance to her at the moment. The fact that she’d left Andre in the care of her brother so that she could have a little fun that night was of no consequence. Not now at least, not when she was lounging comfortably on Nathan’s sofa, her stomach muscles aching slightly from the laughing fit she was just now trying to recover from. Breathless from laughter, Dime wiped the wetness from her eyes as she shook her head, “Jesus, that was literally the worst Robert De Niro impression I’ve ever seen!” she continued to giggle uncontrollably. “I can’t - shit, that was funny...Remind me never to watch Meet The Fockers with you never again.”

Dressed in her typical black yoga sweats and matching crop tee, Diamond eagerly made her way to where her student slash friend was waiting, the thought of teaching new moves to a happy to learn student never failing to put her in a good mood. “Ready to get started on your lesson?”
