Hello! Welcome to my lair! Whether you’re new in this region of reality or been here a few times, it’s good to have visitors! So long as you can handle the heat, that is! Haha!

I’m your local bronze Fire Spirit Cookie, or so I have decreed! I’m good friends with the residents of the Dragon’s Valley in my realm and known for many things, but above all else, my association with dragons and my knowledge of magic and artifacts.

Now, let me establish some ground rules and expectations, yeah?

You’re free to ask me questions, heck, I even encourage it, but there are some things I do not owe anyone an explanation for, so keep that in mind.

While anyone can come into my lair, I do not permit everyone to stay. If you cause me or anyone else I care about any trouble at all, I will kick you out. Additionally, if you suspect you may be a canonmate of mine, please proceed with extreme caution.

I hear that there’s other Fire Spirit Cookies around in this part of reality. If you happen to be one, know that I’m perfectly fine interacting with you! But only if you’re comfortable, of course.

I’m not so good with English at times, so my meaning can get, as you might say, “lost in translation”. If you need clarification, do not be afraid to ask! I don’t bite! (Much.)

Though I definitely can come off as scary at times, I don’t mean any harm. But if my enthusiasm or boldness is a bit frightening, I suggest you to proceed with caution or maybe sit this one out. No hard feelings, I understand it’s not for everyone.

Cherry Crabb is a likely half-dragon resident of the valley. I’m good friends with her; we spent a lot of time together when we were much younger, and she’s a fierce defender of those she loves. Mother is fond of her too, I have a small hunch that either she introduced her to me or she became fond of her after I met her. Either way, she’s cool and I vibe with her a lot. Here’s a short description of what I know about her looks…

She’s warm pinks and reds, pretty vibrant but not so much that she’s an eyesore. Her eyes might be yellow or maybe orange, it’s kind of hard to tell, but she’s got big spikes along her tail and her horns are sharp and curved.

As of right now, she’s across the continent with Millennial Tree and another resident of the valley who is pale-yellow in color. I hope she comes back safe and sound, she hasn’t met Wind Archer yet and I think he’d really like her, too.

Do my eyes count as yellow if they’re most a very dark red? I kind of am inclined to think they do.

Unlike Wind Archer Cookie, I can never be a Guardian. There are rules stating that those of draconic lineage are unfit for the position, because they are wild animals and are a threat to the lives of cookies. I do not know who declared such a thing, but I know that I feel very deeply, as do all others who share the valley with me. If it were up to my friends, I would stand among their ranks. I would see to it that nature’s forces remain in balance. But when all is said and done, “Guardian” is merely a title, and I can still do plenty without it.

While tensions are not high between the cookies and dragons in my realm, there is a sort of… conflict that is present. Cookies tend to see dragons as wild animals that can only be trusted if they happen to have a rider. Take Royal Margarine Cookie and Buttercream as an example. Dragons, however, don’t care too much about cookies either way and will happily tolerate their existence if they don’t screw around. (That’s surprisingly hard for mortals to do…) The thing is, I’m neither a cookie nor a dragon. I am the fire itself, and though the dragons love me and see me as one of their own, cookies are generally not as kind. I have heard them talk about me as if I am nothing but a disaster waiting to happen when they think I am not listening. Most of them are polite only because they don’t want to be reduced to cinders. Which is rude, because I don’t do that kind of thing. It’s no big deal. The folks in the Dragon’s Valley are wonderful, and they’re the ones I hang around most of the time anyway.

I admit it. Despite how much socializing I do, I’m about as dense as molten rock. At least, when it comes to talking with cookies. They’re surprisingly different from dragons as far as their social structures go. Much more… clingy. Not that it’s a bad thing! It’s just taken a lot of time to adjust to, I suppose.

Anyways, I present to you another illustration of myself.

Yes, cookies in my Earthbread do have fingers. They’re not all that pronounced compared to what humans have, and they have one finger less (four as opposed to five), but they are present and they do serve a purpose. That being, to grip things.

Witches know if we were originally baked that way, or if we evolved over time.

Anywho, socializing is an art and I’ve got little experience with it outside of one area. Do with this what you will.

It is of interest to me that the Dragon’s Valley is portrayed as a fiery, molten place where the sky is always dark with ash. I recall it being lush and green and wet, not quite cold enough for snow, but still pretty chilly in the winter. Of course, I was there much more often when I was younger, but all of my visits as of now are ones I think back on fondly. There are a few towns, none all that big, with architecture that I took inspiration from many times in my works. The dragons of the valley are my found family, and I am proud to call myself their protector and the keeper of peace. I cannot speak for them, but I would hope they are proud of me, too.
