This is where the most important chapter of my life comes to an end.

I never imagined I’d have to write these words, but maybe it’s time to accept that not every story is meant to have the ending we dream of.

We both made mistakes. I made choices I’ll always carry with me, and I know I hurt you more than once. I still love you yes but at the same time, there have been things and words you said that left deep wounds inside me, wounds no one could see, but that hurt all the same. I don’t place all the blame on you because I know pain can make people say things they don’t truly mean, but I can’t pretend those words didn’t change me.

I don’t want to remember only the last few days, the arguments, or the silence. I want to remember the smiles, the laughter, and the moments when it felt like we could face anything together. For so long, you were my home, my safe place, and the person I imagined my future with.

Unfortunately, love alone isn’t always enough. It takes trust, loyalty, respect, and the willingness to keep choosing each other even when things get hard. At some point, we lost the ability to do that.

I don’t walk away from this believing either of us was the villain. We were simply two people who loved each other deeply but ended up hurting one another until we could no longer find our way back.

I sincerely hope you find the peace and happiness you deserve, and I hope that one day I’ll find mine too. I won’t carry resentment with me, but I’ll always hold on to the beautiful memories because they’ll forever remain an important part of my life.

You know I will never change, I exaggerate it's true but I know how to love and a lot and you know I did everything for you and we shared everything in our life, but I didn't expect stuff like this from you and I'm sorry because it's the first time you've done it... but that's okay I will never regret our relationship as I said, we loved each other a lot and I'm really happy about it.

Amalia grew up with no time to be pretty and dainty, working hard on her family's farm to keep her family afloat. Despite being a woman in the thirties, she doesn't take the easy way out and dislikes when someone tries to treat her like she's fragile. She comes to Lost Heaven for Tommy and Sarah's wedding, being introduced to Sam and Paulie through her cousin during the reception. She makes the mistake of taking an interest in Paulie right away.

The two have a little fling behind closed doors after having a little too much to drink.

Paulie is intent on forgetting about it because this is Tommy's cousin and also he usually has one-night stands with women at the Blue Tropics so he doesn't think much of it. Amalia, on the other hand, is enamored with him. She doesn't want to forget this wonderfully funny man and she definitely doesn't want to return to her boring, quiet life on the farm.

So, she makes the impulsive decision to stay in Lost Heaven. She doesn't care that Tommy's life is dangerous, she'd rather have a bit of excitement and thrill in her life then the mundane chores she would have to do back on the farm. Salieri welcomes her into the family with open arms because she's Tommy's cousin, and also because she can clearly handle doing some manual labor and earning a place in the family.

Paulie finds it kinda creepy that she's stayed....at first. Because the more he gets to know Amalia, and the more time they spend together, he can't really stay away from her for very long.

Amalia is the kind of person that, despite being able to care for herself and work hard, she still wants someone to take care of her. And she's dead set on Paulie being that man.
