"Aces have a week (which they themselves ORGANIZED, meaning it didnt fall from the sky) but lesbians have a day! So aces shouldn't have a week" is a terrible argument, especially since it's a "bait" post, where you're supposed to infuriate The Asexuals(TM) with your Hot Takes(TM). You can.... support lesbians throughout the entire year? The days dont have to be the only time you celebrate lesbians? Support projects run by lesbians, help lesbians in poverty out? Instead of targeting aces with a "I'm annoyed by this harmless thing, so none of you should be able to have the thing" post, go help out the lesbian community?

No one orientation deserves one thing over the other. That's not how activism works, period. Activists don't try to destroy the work of other activists, unless that work is harmful. And ace week is.... harmless. Your annoyance is not harm. We all have things we go through, and those experiences are valid, but they dont invalidate the experiences of others. Because sexuality doesn't work like that. That's not how advocacy works, either.
TL;DR: No one is forcing you to participate in ace week, and posting inflammatory shit like this and then making posts about wanting death threats in your inbox is shitty of you. And to prop up lesbians in your "bait" posts is ALSO shitty - it's so simple to NOT do that!
I am glad you explained this. I actually am. It’s civil and I understand WHY it’s shitty, when you just saying so before didn’t explain why. Not saying why causes people to repeat behaviours. Why do you think people that ACTUALLY hate aces keep on expressing it in shitty ways? It’s because the aces do nothing but yell back, and not explain.
