Hi all!

We are the circle blog, a few people that want to share some opinions on things that we feel need to be talked about.

We created this blog as a safe place, our asks will always remain with the option to be anonymous, and our dms will always be open: should you need anything, a vent, advice, or just someone to talk to, one of our admins will always be on hand! <3

At the minute there are four admins in total; myself (dumjynki), Horz, MercyEC and Gay Cliché, all of us willing to offer support in the form of a friend :)

It is important to stress that we are not medical professionals, we have no authority in the department of diagnoses or anything of the sort - but we can and will try to aid people wherever we can, even if sometimes our advice is to seek out a medical professional.

This is a huge thing ESPECIALLY with kids. To the parent, they lashed out when they were mad and forgot about it, expecting the kid to forget too. To the kid? It was a big moment that defined your relationship with your parents. Stuff my parents don’t remember doing or saying were things that to me spoke very, very loudly, that I was not safe to be open and honest with my parents.

The axe forgets, but the tree remembers, indeed.

This is why it’s so important to apologize and talk to kids after outbursts or mistakes. It’s fine to lose your temper. Everyone is human. But you need to demonstrate sincerely that your tone and your words were not acceptable and what you should have done instead. This not only helps the healing process but it serves as a model for kids to apologize for their actions or words as well.

Meet the Admins: Gay Cliché.

Hi, 

Animals are my life, I have four dogs, two chinchillas and about twenty fish. I’m Bi and love to climb and watch YouTube in my spare time. Marvel films and the Arrowverse shows are my favourite so someone come chat about all the plot holes with me. I am hoping to try and educate more people and just help with some of the struggles people face nowadays.

I’m not a medical professional but I’m free for advice or if you just need someone to listen, my DM’s are always open so come and have a chat if you want.

Meet the Admins: horz

Hey everyone, 

I am horz one of the admins on this new blog!

I absolutely love animals, reading, yoga, exercise and horse riding. 

I can’t wait to share some of my own experiences with all of you and hopefully help someone out there who is going through something similar. 

We all want to create a safe community where people can share whatever they want, I would love to offer what little help I can to anyone who needs it!

Hiya!

I’m dumjynki, or jynks, and I’m one of the circle blog admins!

I am bisexual and female. I adore animals and anime (seriously, please come rant to me about MHA or something I will love you) and I like to write and draw in my spare time! I’m always up for a chat so please do send me messages on here or on my other blog @dumjynki​ , I’d really love to meet some new people!

I’ve dealt with a lot of things in my life and I’d like to use my experiences to aid other people; I’m in no way a medical professional but I like to think that I’m friendly and open, and if you just need a friend, or someone to talk to, or some genuine advice, I will always be here to help!
