A Clear Video (uploading to server) for my new level called "Bully Thwomp & The Kappa Factory". Level code: X3H-DF2-8DG 'Bully' and 'Thwomp' are the names of 2 enemy types I used predominantly in the level. 'Kappa' is a famous emote on Twitch. I wanted to call it "Bully Thwomp-a etc." to get the Willy Wonka reference across more, but alas, my characters were limited. I used this level as a way to get better at technical jumps in the Super Mario 3D World engine of SMM2. I also experimented with unique setups using (nearly) indestructible enemies. The level uses a system referred to as an Infinite Checkpoint. This means that where the Main world and the Sub-world are connected via pipes, the player can find 2 Checkpoints very close to each other, connected by one of these pipes. This allows players to save their progress throughout the level by swapping CP's back and forth, so that dying doesn't mean losing out on those precious pink coins you've been collecting. I worked very hard on this level. Since my Clear Check run is a speedrun to get the best time possible, it doesn't show off some aspects as much as an exploratory first-time run would. I also took damage a couple times, which is not good for showing off! :P But I hope you can get a sense of my gameplay style and thought process. Enjoy! The Funhouse awaits!
