Tikka Masala- our Australian Cattle Dog, aka Heeler, loves the snow.
Big clumps of snow falling off the trees, but the moos don’t care. They are so shaggy. -21c a few days this week. Colder at night -31c. And we are getting lots of snow.
I love rusted things. Give me a pile of broken machinery, fragments of metal and pieces of technology and I am happy. Found this old Tonka in a barn and linked it out. A few people asked me why but I think it’s exactly the kind of sculpture I want to make. A lot more dieselpunk than Steampunk.
Just the big, freckly nose of a good moo.
Just a small sampling of some of the Steampunk jewelry I have at the Studio this weekend. Pocket watches, gears, vintage brass bits, recycled metal, skeleton keys and gemstones. #pecstudiotour #pecarts #princeedwardcountyartists #steampunk #recycledarts #imaginativeart https://www.instagram.com/p/CUPwgJIAk0i/?utm_medium=tumblr

Some carrots are just so sexy. This year I’m taking a series of photos of things in my hands.
Just thought I would start with a little design I created using the Assembly app. I fell in love with the app when I was trying to find a good iPad app for vector designs. I’m a big fan of the artist, Charlie Harper who did beautiful bird designs. Anyway, I’m going to eventually put this design on one of my Zazzle stores. I gave them lower beaks just for a bit of contrast.
