One being the analysis of the nature of the consumer while the other being to understand the market conditions and the shift in the marketplace. The concept of price sensitivity can be explained as to how the demand for a commodity is changed as per its price. Many researchers have conducted studies and experiments suggesting that the goods or services which are usually available in enormous quantities are more likely to reveal price sensitivity.
Price sensitivity research is a great tool for the management to understand the effect of a change in price on total revenue. Other than that, it provides the additional benefit of exploring the opportunity to alter the price sensitivity associated with a particular commodity and add more features to it for the mutual benefits of the producers as well as that of the consumers.
