I will never forgive the Criminal Minds canon for setting Erin Strauss up like that. They took a powerful, domineering female character and gave her a relatable flaw which cost her greatly in her personal life and then showed her piecing herself back together with the help of the found family in the BAU, made the audience and the team grow attached to her, all just to add to the shock value of her death which was ultimately end game from the start. It's completely unjustifiable, bad storytelling. Strauss deserved better.
