I once saw a living gem - carabus cancellatus beetle, but that was probably his last day, cause someone trampled it :( it was such a beautiful creature so that's a doily with him wandering through eternal forests
the pattern is out on my etsy!!! <3

which one would you prefer for the next pattern?
some specie from Cimbicidae family - looks like a goth hornet, but is completely harmless and not predatory
2. four banded longhorn beetle - a pollinator, photo is from wikipedia
which one would you prefer for the next pattern?
number one (goth hornet)
number two (beetle)
as you decided, the four banded longhorn beetle is finished! I'll add the pattern this or tomorrow evening, so stay tuned:)

golden lady beetle 🐞 summer edition
uploading my post from Instagram here cause it didn't get attention there
Welcome to the new botanical serie! I've been known from making filet crochet beetles, but now it's time to focus also on other natural organisms (i'll still be making beetles tho)
Yarrow is a common herb with small white flowers and frayed leaves. It’s native to Europe, Asia and North America. In my country it usually blooms in summer, and so it became one of the summer milestones for me, as I always admire it in forests.
I did this pattern some time ago but didn't have time to do better photo. This one also isn't perfect but it's visible, i'll do better pics when i'm in forest soon
this was made with 1.5 mm hook so it's quite big for me, since i'm used to crocheting with 0.75 mm ones. I hope you'll like it, I'm posting almost only beetles and almost only filet crochet but... I realised it may be my special interest 😭if you're bored with me making only beetles let me know which animal/plant would you like to see more often!!
(however i'm making a surprise next week, something i never did in filet 🤫)
