Because I hit 400 followers here, I'd like to say something about TheCrochetedCocoon.
I remember that I was so worried to start this shop, because you know, people could not understand this combination of filet crochet lacey doilies and bugs, or could just ignore it. It turned out that a lot of you started to do filet crochet because of my beetles, and it's a thing that keeps me going so much!!
A lot of my doilies are based on my entomological observations. It really means a lot to me that you also appreciate them!
I've got a lot of new ideas, about how to keep it all positive not for us but also for beetles - our muses here. People try to get rid of them often, while a lot of them are useful for our environment. I hope every one of you not only crochet cute doilies of insects but also respect them :) its really important for the Earth.
Thank you for staying here with me and appreciate bugs!! <3
@thecrochetedcocoon would you consider making a doily for these lil guys?
here it is!! but there will be more soon i think, i also love them :3

fun fact: on this photo on the right there's a feather of my parrot I had as a child. he was a cockatiel and was named Koko, my grandfather brought him to our home because someone from the family was allergic to birds. I have a lot of great memories with this birb
