The Daily Photo Booth

Hello, I'm Dan Booth. This is my attempt to take a photo a day throughout 2011 (and hopefully longer). Let's see how it goes... ...well, I completed 2011, and as you can see I'm still going. ...completed 2012 too (well, kind of... got a bit distracted due to the arrival of a baby). 2013... things are more sporadic now, but I'll post pics when I get the chance. I have other tasks to fit into my life now, such as printmaking and being a parent. (Most of these photos are taken with the FxCamera and Retro Camera apps on my android phone. Occasionally I use a "proper" digital camera.)

20:20 #screenprints all done and dusted. Turned out surprisingly well! Just two colours, but created a bit of texture in the background by overprinting the blue on the brown.

Martha came home from nursery today with some interesting little artworks (she's taken to doing miniature drawings on little bits of paper). Clockwise from top left they are "Mermaid", "Bee", "Rings" and "Hand".

Been enjoying my time at 15 William Henry Street for #Saltaire Arts Trail. Had loads of visitors, including quite a few familiar faces (nice to see you all!). Lots of people asking how I go about transforming photographs into #screenprints - takes me almost as long to explain as it does to create them!
