DRUCK Season 6??
Found something exciting.
Months ago some casting calls popped up that were looking for diverse actors and actresses for a publicly funded new series. Their description explains how they are looking for people who want to share their stories but then act out a fictional one onscreen. That experience isn’t required. When I read it the first time it sounded SO like how Skam/DRUCK works. But they said new show, and it was from a writers collective that wasn’t the season 5 writers so I thought it’s truly something new.
BUT now one member of this collective said they are now with an agency and said agency’s website says the following:
2020 DRUCK – STAFFEL 6 series
Aka it very much looks like this collective is already working on season 6 of DRUCK.
They’ve put out 6 different casting calls so far.
They are looking for the following:
curvy and body positive girl
black and queer girl or girl of color who is queer
queer guy
Afro German boy or girl
Asian German boy or girl
sporty guy
They are looking for actors in the 16 to 18 year range.

The writers collective that has written seasons 3 and 4 is working on season 5. We know that much. They also shared on their Facebook page a while ago that they are friendly with this collective called Jünglinge.
Jünglinge describes itself like this on their website: “ JÜNGLINGE is a film collective of mid-twenties raised in the hybrid cultures of post-migrant Germany. We believe that young, European film needs to tell queer, diverse and most of all – specific – stories about growing up and living together in our societies. “
The agency deleted the DRUCK stuff from the website but I made a screen cap days ago.
And in 2 podcasts it was confirmed they are working on DRUCK. [x|x]
One podcast is from back in April 2020 and the other was recorded on June 18th, 2020.

Frage: “Vier Staffeln sind abgedreht, es soll eine fünfte geben. Wann wird sie zu sehen sein?” Zoe: “Wir fangen Anfang Juli an zu drehen. Bis die Sendungen dann im Fernsehen und Online gezeigt werden, dauert es etwa nur einen Monat.” Translation:
Question: “Four seasons were shot, there is supposed to be a 5th one. When will it air?”
Zoe: “We will begin filming in the beginning of July. It will be about a month before the eps are shown on TV and online”
She was also asked if she will be the main focus of the season. She said:
“Ich bin ganz sicher noch ein Teil von “Druck”. Mehr darf ich leider nicht verraten. Es bleibt auf jeden Fall spannend”. Translation:
“I will still be a part of “Druck” for sure. Sadly I am not allowed to say more. It will definitely stay exciting”.
