Pigment printing on Platinum Rag About the series “Views of the Mind” [Vues de l'esprit] In 2016, the Galerie Lumière des roses began working with contemporary artists, inviting them to work from its collection of thousands of anonymous images. This is how the project “Vues de l'esprit” was created by the painter Xavier Combes and the photographer Camille P. The principle is simple: to juxtapose two photographs, without betraying the original clichés or intervening on the image, if not by imposing a common enlargement. Assembled, the images weave together a constellation of secret links that offers a new horizon to imaginary space.
