The Delta Review was founded in Greenville, Mississippi in 1966, and closed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1969. My blog The Frontline began as a hip-hop blog in 2008, but has grown far beyond the original intentions, and in 2019 has been relaunched as The Delta Review. We cover the postmodern South- blues, jazz, food, festivals, music history and culture.
