“but as a cishet person i think”
btw this isn’t for exclusionists
i hate that “cishet” can now also be considered code for “asexuals” and that some asexual ppl may think this is about excluding them from the LGBT+/MOGAI community
nope, this post is about cishets, and exclusionists don’t get to reblog it bye
Fun Fact
You can’t say you include everyone and then not let people join you just because one or two other people are “uncomfortable” with you. Because then you’re not allowing everyone. You either allow everyone, even if they make others uncomfortable, or you allow most people. But people shouldn’t say they allow everyone and then explain that they only allow most. That’s wrong. Plain and simple.
I'M DOING AN EXPERIMENT
To prove something to a friend, please
REBLOG IF YOU THINK ASEXUALS BELONG IN LGBTQ+ SPACES
LIKE IF YOU THINK ASEXUALS DON’T BELONG IN LGBTQ+ SPACES
REBLOGGING SO HARD.
YOU BETTER FUCKING BELIEVE IM REBLOGGING WTF
Love without Sex
I’m doing a Philosophy paper on Asexuality. Please reblog if you think Love without Sex is possible! I really need the data. Like if you think love has to have sex.
shoutout to asexual trans boys who don’t feel like they belong in the LGBT+ community because of TERFs and exclusionists !!
no matter what they say, you are 1000% valid in your gender and your orientation and you are 1000% welcome in the LGBT+ community !!
you are deserving of so much love, respect, and support and i hope you know how wonderful and how loved you are !!
please reblog this if you are a part of the LGBT+ community and think asexuals should be included, too
I’m worried abt young ace kids
lgbt people who equate no attraction to heterosexual are basically admitting that they view heterosexuality as the normal or default and everything else as not normal
^^^^^^!!!!
STOP CALLING AROACES STRAIGHT
–Mod Mercy
ggod why do some aces feel the need to “come out” out as asexual,, literally the only person who needs to know that is your (potential) partner
hey who here is ace because i sure am
i’m ace and have no potential partners because i’m also aro! and 15! stop sexualising my identity OP!
asexuality is LITERALLY just about sex I’m yellign
sexual attraction =/= sex, c’mon it’s like the most basic shit here why are y’all so purposefully ignorant
“i am not attracted to anyone” is not TMI and fuck you if you think it is
it’s it’s literally right there in the word SEXual attraction words have no meaning anymore I guess
And I wasn’t talking about that btw, I meant that I really don’t need to know your personal relationship with sex lmao
one could say the same thing about any other word with the -sexual suffix but thatd be wildly inaccurate, am i right
Yeah, the -sexual suffix has to do with gender. ‘sexus’ is the latin word for gender. But sexual attraction is literally about… sexual attraction. Didn’t y'all come up with the sexual and romantic attraction split?
i’m asexual and I don’t use the split attraction model
I”m fucking dying “Asexuality is all about sex! Because the word sexual is in it!” “What about these other identities using ‘-sexual’?” “Oh, that only refers to gender. And anyway sexual attraction is about sexual attraction. Which, of course, is all about sex.”
…? The fucking dissonance here lmfao
And… the split attraction model did not originate with aces. (Maybe the term, but I genuinely don’t know.) But it was Heinrich Ulrich who came up with the concept initially
acephobes over here literally sexualizing minors and defending it by saying that the minor’s identities are just about sex.
i’m sorry but if you think a minor’s identity is centered entirely around sex. that’s. really fucking gross.
and then the acephobe tries to explain that the minor’s identity *must* be just about sex because the word “sex” is in it.
and then. manages to acknowledge that they only believe “sex” being in an identity’s name makes it sexual in the case of asexuality. like just blatantly puts their lack of solid reasoning on proud display.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A “CISHET ACE/ARO”
CISHET = CIS, HETEROSEXUAL AND HETEROROMANTIC. ALL THREE.
YOU CAN BE CIS AND ASEXUAL AND HETEROROMANTIC
OR CIS AND AROMANTIC AND HETEROSEXUAL
OR CIS AND AROMANTIC AND ASEXUAL
AND YOU ARE STILL PART OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY.
IF YOU’RE A-SPEC THEN YOU AIN’T CISHET
CAN’T BELIEVE I HAVE TO SPELL THIS OUT FOR Y'ALL.
OKAY TUMBLR. IT'S TIME TO SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL
Reblog this if you pronounce “.gif” as “JIF.”
NOT GIF,
JIF.
And here is the link for the opposite.
WE SHALL SEE WHICH ONE PREVAILS.
Exclusionist: *URL is aphobic(insert character name).*
Exclusionist: *Uses the ‘dare I say’ meme.*
Exclusionist: *Invalidates every bit of language a-spec people coin.*
Exclusionist: “Your identity is TMI, don’t ever tell people you’re asexual.” Exclusionist: “Schools should never teach about asexuality in sex ED.”
Exclusionist: “You can’t headcanon that character as a-spec, I headcanon them as gay.”
Exclusionist: *Tries to claim a canonically aroace character is gay coded.*
Exclusionist: “I don’t care if you’re a teenager yourself, don’t headcanon teenage characters as asexual, that’s gross.”
Exclusionist: *Stereotypes all asexual people as cishet women and all aromantic people as predatory cishet men.*
Exclusionist: “What? don’t hate ace/aro people, I hate cishets! What made you think I hate ace/aro people?”
@Everyone who says that li//ttles can’t ruin things like stuffed animals or princesses or the color pink for people: I’m going to talk about something I learned about in my high school psychology class, something most people who have taken a psychology class know about: conditioning.
Now, what might conditioning have to do with your argument, you may ask? Allow me to explain.
Conditioning is the act of associating a stimulus with a reaction that usually does not follow the stimulus. For example, you see the color pink and you feel physically ill.
What you are doing, by associating pink, princesses, kittens, stuffed animals, etc. to your kink, and not properly tagging your content NSFW, is allowing minors/sex-repulsed individuals to see your photos/text posts/etc. when searching through those tags. After even a short period of time, the brain starts to make a connection between the searched tag, e.g. pink, with NSFW images that clog up the tag. After a while, even seeing the color pink will bring the expectation of NSFW images up in the individual’s mind, and can cause physical reactions as well as mental ones.
Now, I am not an expert in psychology. I don’t claim to be. But if a teenager in a high school psychology class knows exactly how you are being damaging, chances are anyone of you who claim to know more than me in psychology know this as well. And knowingly damaging someone else’s psyche is not cool. So please, tag your stuff NSFW, and don’t complain about people who say your k!nk “ruined” something for them. Chances are that’s exactly what it did.
Some friendly reminders up top and some not-so friendly ones on the bottom.

Full offense but enbyphobes can jump into a bit going to the center of the earth and never bother anyone again thanks.
SO, YOU’RE 13 YEARS OLD AND YOU READ THE WORD “ASEXUAL” ON TUMBLR AND NOW YOU THINK YOU ARE ASEXUAL?? That’s amazing, i’m happy for you, it’s wonderful that you found the word so early, there are so many people who spent years feeling broken and wish they learned about asexuality earlier, also keep in mind that your feelings are valid, no matter if they might change one day, you are important and precious and i got your back, little friend.
