Seriously considering to do this meal prep thingy.
I’ll always romanticize my life cause I only get one, after all. Even a ₱200 bread from a fancy bakeshop can make me happy, because I’m consistent in choosing what I enjoy. I respect the little things in my life.

Currently addicted to a Taylor Swift song: “The Wish List (2024).”
Missing Vietnam a little extra today, but at least its coffee made its way here.
Spent two hours journaling here, and it felt so good. I hope I can find my way back to reading more, writing more, and making time for the things that quietly bring me peace.

I shouldn’t discourage my mom from traveling abroad with my aunt. She’s smart, capable, and I know she can handle it. Instead of planting fear in her mind, I should be encouraging her to explore, experience new places, and enjoy life.
She has spent so much of her life taking care of others. It might be her turn to see a little more of the world, and I want to be someone who supports that, not someone who holds her back.
This is one piece of propaganda I’ll gladly fall for: hot springs. ♨️
This was in Beitou, Taiwan, another side of the country that’s absolutely worth visiting. It’s a cultural experience that lets you slow down and appreciate a different pace of life. I’m so glad we intentionally included this in our trip. It ended up being one of the highlights.

I’m a certified yapper, I know.
I’m happy I’m outside!
Seriously, these feel like rare photos of someone who just returned to society after hiding in a cave for a long time. Lmao.
Time flies when you’re buried in work and focused on surviving. One minute you’re young, and the next, you’re wondering where all the time went and how so much has happened in between.
Moments like this make me wish I had been born into a rich family instead of working like a dog. But then again, maybe I need to remind the universe that I’m actually a cat. I should have all the time in the world and I should be the center of the universe. LOL

I feel like my creative juice has been completely drained by work. By the end of the day, all I have left is enough energy to rant about it. It’s not that I’m ungrateful, I truly am but it’s been incredibly exhausting. I don’t want this job to start feeling like a hellhole. Taking a one-hour break to recharge before I lose myself in the burnout.
Named as one of the 25 most beautiful public libraries in the world.

My meds intake is as inconsistent as my New Year’s resolutions. 😭
It was worth waking up early for this.
Maybe I should chase the good things in my life the same way I chase the sunrise. With intention, patience, and anticipation. After all, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, whatever is wonderful, we think about such things.

We’re only 10 minutes into Voicemails for Isabelle, and my lover is already in tears. 😭
I think I’ve found a new favorite road: Marilaque.
Stretching through parts of Rizal, Laguna, and Quezon, it’s one of those roads that makes you want to slow down and simply take everything in. The winding curves, mountain views, and endless greenery make every drive feel like a small escape from the city.
It’s also a favorite among motorcyclists, some ride with admirable skill, while others seem to ride as if there’s no tomorrow. Yet despite the noise and speed, the road still has a way of making you appreciate the beauty around you.
On lucky mornings, especially after a night of rain, some spots are blessed with a sea of clouds. Watching the mountains slowly emerge as the sun rises feels almost unreal, like nature quietly putting on a show for those willing to wake up early.
And then there are the stopovers, simple places where you can grab a coffee, catch your breath, and admire the view. Maybe that’s why I’m especially grateful for the idea of stopping over. Sometimes the destination is worth it, but often it’s the pauses along the way that make the journey memorable.
June 12-13, 2026 / Thank God for inventing the idea of stopping over
Please stop stressing about things that won’t even matter next year.
My first trip to Taiwan was all about Uber because we had someone with us who covered our rides.
But on this trip, we explored Taiwan by train like locals, and only now have I fully appreciated how amazing Taiwan’s transportation system is. It’s worlds apart from what I grew up with in the Philippines.

My sleeping schedule seriously needs to be fixed!!!!!
