Absolutely not and in fact I have extremely strong feelings about that ship. I also do not support Yuffie/Vincent or any ship with Yuffie. I don't have any real personal favorite ships from ff7, sorry. I support Tifa/Aerith, Zack/Aerith, Zack/Cloud, Cloud/Tifa, Cloud/Aerith, and any other ship involving consenting adults within a reasonable age zone. Cloud and Sephiroth is legal age-wise, but it's a terrible ship. For one, I can't see it happening even with Sephiroth redemption. I don't think their personalities compliment eachother at all. I don't particularly like the life stages they're in (21 and 28-30). 28 year old and 21 year old are in very different areas in life. It susses me out. Source: I'm 28. 21 year olds are usually not mature enough/ have enough life experience to be at the same stage of responsibility and accountability, therefor do not prioritize the same or understand why they prioritize the way they do. Specifically for Sephiroth, if he were to be freed from Jenova influence, at 28, he is a fully grown man, fully realized, figured out his political stance, knows his moral standing on most situations. He has had to be fully responsible for others and fully responsible for his actions with no fallback onto a support system. In fact, he, again, was raised isolated by his abusers whose goals for him directly contradicted his morals, and he had to figure out quickly how to cope around that. He actually figured this all out by around 22-23, minus his difficulty handling the pain of human empathy. Meanwhile Cloud at 21 is still trying to figure out how to be a person, cannot handle almost any situation with emotional maturity, especially shown in advent children, and is in a completely different headspace and experience level overall. Not only that, Sephiroth was someone who Cloud idolized, and Sephiroth essentially protected him as a distanced figure of authority when Cloud was only 16 and he was 22-23. Cloud looked at Sephiroth the way a child looks at Superman. My opinion, ship what you want.
