Bonus Episode! David's out on the road and regales us with his tales of the far-off land of San Francisco and GDC. The boys discuss virtual reality and Bright Eyes because we are so indie and cool and hip and wear hoodies with thumbholes cut out of them and you just wouldn't understand.
Episode 25! With Joe Russ's challenge from last episode echoing in their ears, the boys venture forth into exploring the decrepit underbelly of the Dark Souls series, and instead spend a half hour talking about their broken toys, Punk'd and mid-2000's emo. This episode is possibly Peter Serafinowicz-approved, or at least we'd like to think so.

Episode 23! The guys don their reading glasses and play a dusty, confused, and infamous classic: Daikatana. The conversation ripples out into the rise and fall of AAA games being experimental, Geoff Keighley, The Beatles vis a vis game design, and, uh, how kinda sorta milquetoast this shooter really is.
Essential reading: this 15-year-old making-of by none other than Geoff Keighley for GameSpot.
Episode 20! Davis decides it's high time they play something new: "Shovel Knight," an action platformer... that looks 20 years old. The boys ponder mortality, nostalgia, and one of them is elected class president on a pizza-reform platform.
Episode 13! Mike Rosenthal of Twitter: The Comic wonders if Davis and David are BAD enough to check out a children's game from 1985 about earning nickels by catching watermelons and directing very small trains. Also they giggle a lot and visit the Disco Room.

Episode 12! Davis double triple dares David to play Gears of War, a small indie game by a Norwegian studio. They debate the merits of postmodern minimalism coupled with the intense pre-pubescent coming-of-age story inferred by the protagonist's use of a machinegun with a chainsaw attached to it.
Episode 11! We objected to the fact that we hadn't played any videogames about lawyers. Super Paralegal 64 is hard to find, so David & Davis played Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and spent 24 minutes talking about murder, Metallica, and their college radio station instead.
Episode 10! In our inaugural double-digit episode (but not really if you count that one from GDC but whatever who's counting (other than us)), the boys discuss hitmen, meat, bees, B's, and stab wounds. Come for the fun, stay for the extended discussion about smoothies.
Episode 9! The boys found the true value of friendship with Pocky and Rocky for the Super Nintendo. It's a story we've all heard before: girl meets tanuki, girl takes tanuki on an adventure through her monster-infested town, girl throws deadly playing cards at anything that moves. Pretty standard, really.
