Style Icon: Thierry Mugler

Barbie loves things that are ahead of the curve rather than things that follow and copy and a one of a kind that stands apart is Thierry Mugler.

Known for his collections in the 80s and 90s, which included latex, exaggerated power suits, leather has been an unmistakable style icon still pushing the envelope through 21st design. In the George Michael music video, Too Funky that is a that is practically a compilation of his brand. In recent years a revival of his edgy, body-revealing and futuristic styles in runway fashion, suggests that his work has always been far ahead of its time.
