Peach

The Hollows Witness, she is the speaker for The Sorrowful Spring. She's Bouncy and sweet, an extremely positive cat. Quite Ironic for the Deity she serves. She was indoctrinated by Fogbloom along with her brother Bear. After their caretaker passed away Peach and her brother became street cats. Fogbloom found them struggling and offered them a more fulfilling life. The pair agreed and Fogbloom took them in, taught them the ways of the valley cats and took care of them like family. Ever since then Peach has been a loyal Hollow and pledged her entire being to the Sorrowful Spring. Much like every witness she was blessed with sight and was Forever changed. “I walk a path most other cats will never comprehend, however I am not alone.” - Peach

Farstride

The Roaring Tempest’s Witness, They are a calm and passive cat. Farstride is dedicated to preaching The Grand Oak and the Faded Star. They believe that fate is predetermined, and all will work out in time, that it's a cat's job to simply play their part. Like all Witnesses, Farstride too are permanently changed from having interacted first hand with The Roaring Tempests deity so often. “I choose to no longer look upon the world for I can see far too much” - Farstride

Greydawn

The swifts retired Witness, She is your stereotypical old lady who has seen too much. She's the type to talk about something terrifying as if it's a normal occurrence. And trust, she's seen some truly horrifying things as most Witnesses do.

Littlecreek

Once the Witness of the rapids sect,  (A religious figurehead that leads their sect in worship and rituals, and is also the cat who is able to commune with the sect's deities directly) This tom is gifted and took great pride in his duties. Though blind he can perceive far more than other cats, His own form of divine sight. With this he was able to forge a deep connection with all the clans deities. Though he loved his job he found his heart led him away from the sect's style, to pursue a different type of love.

Leappaw

One of the two apprentices training in the rapids. She's an extremely athletic cat, strong and agile. She believes most of her problems can be solved with brute force, she leaves the thinking to her sister.

Being a mothers tough but oh so worth it!!

These are sketches of Apple's first few months of motherhood.

Appleribbon had Heronkit and Fox kit in late winter, a time where there are very few other kits; she was actually alone in the nursery for the first moon and a half after they were born. Even after Elmbrook moved in she couldn't help her much with her two spit fires, since Elm was having a rough pregnancy. 

So the first two and a half moons were an exhausting trial for Appleribbon, since Herron and Fox are just endless founts of energy, both good and bad.

Fogbloom

The founder of the Hollow, she is their leader even though her name doesn't suggest it, Hollows doesn't follow the naming conventions of the other Sects. This strange She-cat seems to always be followed by a haze of mist, she doesn't seem to mind it though.

Even though her sect and god are the newest she does not feel the need to prove herself to the other Sects, she's already perfect in her gods eyes after all. She dedicates herself to following and promoting the teachings of the Sorrowful Spring, by any means necessary.

Moonstreak

The newest member of The hollows, she was the first cat that was raised and trained by the hollows. To the Hollow sect she marks them becoming a true group smiled upon by the Fading star. Despite some of the other sect's opinions. Moonstrake was originally from The Tempest sect, but defected to The Hallows as an apprentice. She's a cat with an ability (I'll make a post on these more indepth later and link it here) when she makes eye contact with another creature then becomes paralysed until she breaks eye contact. This ability got her in trouble back with the Tempest but the Hollows never feared her because of her ability.

here's my new world summery

Warning These is a stories that will contain gore and horror but trust me there will be plenty of sweet and action packed moments as well.

The valley these cats live in is inhabited by 5 groups of cats,

The Rapids

The Swifts

The Tempest

The Silence

The Hollow

All of these groups Worship The Fading Star, A major deity, their methods of worship are all different however and are guided by a minor deity. Each minor deity has a physical link to the mortal world that cats inhabit.

The Rapids, Worship the Great Mother Willow, who takes the form of a willow tree located in the heart of their island.

The Swifts Worship the Obsidian Plinth, a massive obsidian crystal obelisk that's found in the tunnels the Swifts inhabit.

The Tempest worships the Grand Oak, who takes the form of an oak tree that was struck by lightning and now blossoms with silver leaves. located in the hart of there territory.

The Silence Worship the Twin pines, which takes the form of a pine tree that was spit at the base and now grows at two trees that share a base. its located in the heart of there camp.

The Hollow worship the Sorrowful Spring, a bubbling spring located in the ruins that Hollows call home.

There are also other gods outside of these but they are not really the focus or pertain to different groups that don't have anything to do with our cats.

The World is now more of a fantasy type one, still modern day but we will be experiencing it with cats that live in a secluded mountain range. So they don't really deal with humans. There is magic, it's mainly things like inherited abilities, worship/ devotion gifts, or giving something to gain something.

and it's not just limited to the cats.

The cats specifically in the valley function more like those fictional cults, again think cult of the lamb or the cult of bhal form bg3.

Warriors naming conventions - Im not sure if I should just use the ones from warriors or come up with my own. I'm sticking with the one for warriors for now to keep things simple for me but it may change.

UPDATE

Sorry for the lack of cats lately, I promised myself that I would focus on artfight during July, so I was only really writing during that month. I had started back with designing cats in August but by that time a lot of the story and lore around it had changed. This is still a warriorcats inspired story to me but it now has a lot of Cult of the Lamb and Felidae in it as well (and a bit of DND)! And trust me you will definitely still see the warriors inspo.

As I said when I first started this blog, it's to track my personal progress in making this comic. And this post is going to mark a turning point. Because again my ideas have gotten out of hand. I'll still continue introducing you to cats as I have been but I want you all to know that I need to start accounting for the fact that this comic is probably more than just a fan work at this point.

Raggedheart

Rapid clans older medicine cat, he's a grumply and prickly cat, he cares for nothing more than caring for other cats, especially the ones he holds dear. A trait he learned from his mentor Wiltedmint, Whom he cared for dearly; she was a surrogate mother to him when his mother was unable to care for him and his sibling, due to her failing mental health. Though he has a serious case of reading bitch face, and voice, there is more heart behind his words and actions then any cat will ever know. Now nearing the age of retirement he has to accept leaning a bit more on his apprentice, Willowdrop, to do the running.

Fun fact he has a long hair rex type coat and the folded ear trait, I'm gonna try and keep track of which cats have these traits to make some of my family tree make sense.
