That’s unusual. Someone in a flowery dress with a… flower for a head? Probably not best to ask them about that first thing. Maybe they (he? she? he’s learned a little about not assuming what people go by with Chevie so he can’t be sure right away) will be willing to tell him about it later, but for now he tries to keep himself from staring at their odd flower face. “Oh um. I’m Hugo, I’m sorta… in charge around here.”
"Oh! Well, I apologize for intruding-- if I am at all." She pauses, unsure whether to offer a hand or... keep polite. In the end, she keeps hands held in front of her, standing awkwardly with heels clicked together.
"I'm Daisy. A pleasure to meet you, Hugo."

"ACTUALLY…" He begins, clicking his teeth as he thinks. "I’M LOOKING TO SEW CLOTHING FOR A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE. HE’S A LONG WAY FROM HOME AND AIN’T GOT MUCH TO WEAR AT THIS POINT. THIS COULD HELP ME GET INSPIRED."
"So cloth material? Or some helping hands." She chuckles a little to herself, slightly leaning against the counter with growing interest.
"If you're looking to buy cloth alone, or some sewing supplies, I have some boxes upstairs of old machines and scissors I rarely use. For you, I'll even lower the price, and give the scissors for free. It seems you really care about this friend, I'd love to help if possible."

What a peculiar fellow! All these new faces and this one was by far the strangest she'd encountered. It's a good thing she wasn't speaking up right now. For a moment, Daisy truly believed this was some new super villain. He was certainly dressed to look like one-- at least one of the rich ones.

"OH! Hello there." The flower-headed being tilts her head in wonder at the other, curiously drawing closer with hands held together.
"Mind if I ask who you are? Or is it too blunt and forward of me...?"

He’s about to denounce all of her guesses when it occurs to him. “HEH… HE KINDA DID SAVE ME, IN A WAY. I OWE HIM.” She doesn’t have any reason to be afraid so he doesn’t budge. “AND I BET YOU’RE HOPING I AIN’T A LOCAL. NAH. I’M HERE ON VACATION OF SORTS. YOUR FABRIC SELECTION CAUGHT MY INTEREST WHILE I EXPLORED THE TOWN.” He gestures around to the shop to indicate he’s not making a shitty pickup line involving her dress.
"OH NO, nothing like that!" She states in a minor concerned tone, waving a hand while the end of her palm stayed dormant against the desk. She rests it afterwords and continues to listen until he finishes before speaking up.
"Well, I'm always available to give him a heads up for fans. If you wanted an autograph, that is?" Her head tilts slightly to briefly scan her own work, then back at the strange, metallic man standing before her. Daisy's hands clasp together lightly, and she settles her unease entirely with a single sigh.
"I'm very glad! Even if you do not purchase anything, knowing my work made you grow curious enough to enter is much more greater than the rewards..."
boxxingforjustice has entered the shop--!!
yeah i… i don’t mind either. I can wait for you here. I’ll keep the shop safe and open if ya want, so you don’t make customers wait or anything. I’ll take note of what they want and tell you when ya come back, is that a good idea or what?? >:^)
"Oh that'd be STUPENDOUS!" She chimed, clasping her hands together with petals drawing more open in delight. There was no hesitation to slide over the counter, standing near the superhero with joy radiating off her person.
"Notebook papers are in the third desk drawer and pens are in the mug off to the side. I won't be long-- oh, I should ask before I run off but, is there anything else you'd like? Water? I could stop by the store and pick you up a snack if you'd like...?"

Walking here is like tiptoeing through a temple full of booby traps for a 700 pound monster man. Even with care, every step he takes toward the counter shakes the store a tremor. “NOT EXACTLY. I AM A FAN OF YOUR BOYFRIEND’S WORK.” Clomp. Clomp. CLOmp. He rests his razor tipped hands on the counter. “HAVEN’T SEEN HIM AROUND.” He’d wandered around town in hopes of running into him. No dice.
Daisy drew her hands back in a bit of shock at the monstrous hands. She's usually not one to judge appearances, but intimidation was playing a big role here. The man himself didn't seem to be here on bad terms, judging from his tone, so a bit of trust was being laid back on the table, along with her hands resting back upon it. Her fingers softly drummed against the table for a while as she tried to form words, but there wasn't much to say without making wild guesses. In the end; It was worth the shot.
"Ah, super hero duties aren't exactly easy I'm afraid." She laughs, trying to keep down the nervousness in her tone out of respect, but finding it hard to do.
"Has he um... Saved you once? Or are you here for an autograph-- maybe for your children? I apologize if I'm throwing myself a bit out here, and I'll apologize again but, I haven't seen much of him in a long while. I'm sure he's doing his best protecting the town... Ah-! Here, if you have a place nearby-- maybe a phone and a name, I'll let him know you stopped by and wanted to thank him properly... if that's what you're here for?"
"Well I mean, what I have is edible. Might not be food, per say, but it won’t kill me.” Not exactly the best at reassuring people here, clearly. Not that he thinks it’s a big deal, really. As long as he lives, he doesn’t seem to care.
Can you feel the judgement Ballman? Because it is radiating off of her. She's drumming her fingers, dead silent, thinking to herself just how much she has left to spare. Despite wanting to get more supplies, and despite knowing she should despise the villain standing across from her, she can't fight down the fact that he needs to eat, and she doesn't. Wants and needs were two different things, and Ballman's wants clearly outweighed hers.
"Alright." She huffs, hopping over the table. "Rules. We are going to get you some things to eat. REAL food. No running off, no kidnapping, no stealing, nothing bad. I'm paying for you, so the least you could do is respect this..."
Do not hurt him
I will rip you apart.
He’d feel worse about the staring if she actually had eyes that he could see. For now, he’s totally oblivious.
"Eh, fine. Been working on a new thing, but y’know, ‘s confidential."
"New thing. Right." Probably a death ray... Yeah. It's a death ray.
"It's-- That's.... Good? You do have food there, though... right?"
"Well, I mean, yeah, but doesn’t it usually, y’know, go in soil and stuff?" He frowns just slightly, raising an eyebrow.
Idle staring. Just nothing but idle staring.
"......So how are things fairing back home?"
"Eh, not that hot, don’t need anything." He shrugs, rolling his shoulders afterwards. "I’d ask the same of you, but y’know, flower head.."
"Well, believe it or not, flowers still need to drink." She chuckled softly, drumming her fingers anxiously against the desk.
"Water-- just water, but... I'm sure you knew that."
"Nah, not feelin’ it today, y’know?" Sorta leans against her desk, big ‘ol grin. "Why? Something wrong with me just paying a little visit?"
"Actually, not at all." She decides to slightly loosen up, still wanting to brush the villains arms off her desk.
"It's a bit hot outside, isn't it. You must be burning up. Would you like something to drink...?"
”..Nope, nah, no robots. Not now, at least.”
"So no kidnapping either?" Slowly puts the water gun back and folds her arms.
"Nothing of the sort...?"
"…" Stares at the water now dripping down his chest. "Yeah, thanks for that."
Stares as well.
"...No robots?"
