Are you sure? You climbed the mountain to die. And, given the chance to do so with purpose, you did. Friends and family couldn't take that impulse away. Frisk climbed the mountain for a reason, too. I'm sure Toriel would've said, until the pivotal moment, that you adapted reasonably well.
