Since I’m reeeeeally busy today (packing for katsucon and work and blah blah blah) I’mma throw some quick headcanons at ya for Valentines Day~
Todoroki had no clue what to get Midoriya for Valentines Day (but wtf else is new), so he tried to consult some of his classmates.
Uraraka: YOU WANNA GET DEKU-KUN SOMETHING FOR VALENTINES DAy?!? THATS SO CUTE!!!! GET HIM CHOCOLATES IN THE SHAPE OF ALL MIGHTS HEAD. NO WAIT GET HIM A CHOCOLATE ALL MIGHT OH MY GOD ITD BE ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!
Iida: If you want to purchase something for Midoriya to show your affections, you can never go wrong with flowers. Then again, as Uraraka brilliantly pointed out, chocolates are a good option too. And then there’s the issue of getting him a card. Do you go the humorous route or do you get one that accurately reflects your feelings? There are so many options to consider and you’re running out of time.
Bakugo: wHY TF ARE YOU ASKING ME? I have no fucking clue what that nerd would want for shitty Valentines Day!!! This whole holiday is a fucking scam anyway!!!!!!!!!!!
Momo: Why don’t you take him out for a nice dinner? Candlelight, formal dress, with some fine music playing in the background! *swoons* It’s picture perfect and I’m sure Midoriya would enjoy it.
Jirou and Kaminari: (They were eating lunch together when Todoroki found them. They stared at him, then looked at each other, then back at Todoroki and said vERY bluntly) You should just **** his brains out tonight.
Needless to say Todoroki had to take a break from asking people after that one.
Tokoyami: Might I suggest a book of poems that describe your love?
Ashido: Todoroki, you silly goose, the only acceptable gift you can give your boyfriend on Valentines Day is a good old fashioned- (Todoroki left before she could finish bc he thought she was going to say something lewd but she was actually going to say box of chocolates lol. She was very confused as to why Todoroki suddenly bolted, but laughed it off)
The last people he asked were Tsuyu and Kaminari who were studying in the library.
“Well, I can see why you’d have such a hard time finding something. Midoriya is a bit of a wild card when it comes to gifts.” Tsuyu said and closed her book.
“Yeah! You can get him anything and he’d be happy.” Kirishima agreed, “But if I were to suggest anything, maybe you should make him something. I’m sure whatever you make would mean more to him than anything you would ever buy.”
And Tsuyu nodded her head in agreement. “Yeah, why not make something from the heart?”
So Todoroki took their advice and ended up making Midoriya a “Hero Journal No. 2/14”; filled with all the things he admires about Midoriya. Todoroki even added some exclusive facts about his own quirk that no amount of close observation would ever pick up on.
Needless to say, Midoriya loved Todoroki’s gift and would not stop kissing and hugging him for a solid twenty minutes.
