In it you mentioned a friend told you about SJM calling Elain a walking spoiler do you happen to remember that friend and if they have a source/remember the interview of that? I'm trying to figure out which interview SJM said that and not having any luck.

i remember the post but i can't find it, but i remember saying in it a friend said sjm is keeping elain under wraps because she's a walking spoiler, as an opinion of theirs, not a statement given by the author if i remember correctly. so sorry for the confusion! it was a theory post and i couldn't really tell you the friend's blog name because they changed it a few times and then deleted their account sadly but it was never something sjm said as far as i remember, but their own personal opinion.

I keep seeing posts claiming that x y or z action you can do to build a better world won’t matter. That capitalism doesn’t care, and your own actions dont amount to much.

It’s so painfully individualistic. Of course me doing that thing isn’t going to save anybody or anything.
