am i going insane or does every newly released/rewritten fic on ao3 have the same tone and weight of writing. the same pauses. the same idioms and “X did Y as if the pause of silence were a virtue and not retreat”. am i going insane or is this actually AI? so far now I’ve seen five/six fics from different fandoms different authors with the same tone that usually betrays who the author is and i am genuinely GENUINELY obsessing over the possibility that AI has actually written it. has anyone else felt this or is this too much of a coincidence?
