I apologize I haven’t been posting as much as of late! I’ve been so slammed trying to get my certification to be an art teacher all completed before this coming school year. However my final big test is on Friday, good thoughts sent my way would be much appreciated! However in the mean time, here is a doodle I was working on during my study breaks. Can’t wait to get back to painting on Friday! I have a lot of exciting things coming for my shop the rest of this summer!

Back in October I painted this drop for the absolutely gorgeous wedding for the Colemans, it was truly an inspired event and so well thought out. The vintage feel was gorgeous. Recently my wedding backdrop was featured on Modern Wedding!

My new channel for my shop! I have been experimenting with speed painting, this is the first one done with my overhead tripod. Please like and subscribe-- there will be a lot more videos, a lot more art, a lot more nerdiness and flowers, all of that lovely stuff to come!

This particular painting is a Christmas gift for my Grandmother. She’s one of my absolute favorite people in this universe and so I decided to paint her something inspired by her ranch house.

This is a snippet of a speed painting video I’m making. It’s my first! I intend to make many more and potentially start a youtube channel for it! Very excited for this new frontier in my painting career... though it may not seem like much of a new experience until tonight I would describe myself as pretty inexperienced with cameras. 

Anyway! A sample of my work if you will. The quote is ‘Be Silly, Be Honest, Be Kind.’ It’s one of my favorites as a fan of quotes and words that encourage openness with one’s self and acceptance of yours and everyone else’s unique brand of weirdness. I’ll be sure to post it when it’s all done!

I made this painting for my cousin’s wedding which was back on October 3rd. (I know what you’re thinking... if I hadn’t told you that how would you ever know?)

The idea is an alternative guest book. All the guests signed a leaf! Had a lot of fun doing this one. I really love weddings, especially family weddings. It meant so much to me to be able to help them have something personalized and special on their day!

This weekend I will be looking for a printer for Christmas Cards! With any luck they will be ready to sell next week! Been working hard on designs. This particular painting is loosely based on my Grandparents home. It's one of my favorite places in the world, and it always seemed so peaceful to me.
