We are pleased to announce that we are finally launching our film tonight at Monsieur London! Here's a little snippet of what's to come...
As we're living in the digital age we've seen a wave of connected devices, selfies, apps, foodstagramming - the lot.
But did you ever think that an app connected to your shoe would be able to track the world around you?
Say hello to 'the world's first down to earth wearable technology'.
Shoestagram 'enables users to fully control their iPhones with a combination of custom voice commands and foot gestures to unleash the full potential of a phone strapped to your shoe.'
Check out their video here, to get a taster for what Shoestagram are all about here - http://shoestagram.me/
Submission from Bastick - Ruiz:
'When your feet take you from Brazil to Nepal, you make the most of your Brazilian Havaianas and adopt the Nepalese way of wearing socks with flip-flops. it may not be very beautiful but it reminds you how lucky you are to travel the word.'
We are all aware of the big fashion no-no's.
We have double denim and bum bags, as the obvious. But you would think that Dad's socks and sandals combo would be a complete horror as well... But actually, fashion-goers at the current Fashion Week's have currently been sporting this look. Who would've known, that this trend would hit the streets?! Are you a fan of this look, or is it still a big fashion faux pas? Check out the rest of the article here by the Evening Standard.
Do you know what it's like to live in someone else's shoes? 'Life In My Shoes' is a powerful campaign that challenges the misunderstanding and fear that circles around HIV. The campaign has encouraged many to send in a photo of their shoes with a description about what life is like in their shoes.
It's strong, moving and compelling. Check out their campaign and film teaser 'Undefeated' here.
We got in touch with @bareft_buddhist who told us how he balances his high-flying job in tech, whilst living a barefoot lifestyle... 'I've known my feet all my life. We get along well and I'm probably barefoot 99% of the time and that helps with my back injuries. I occasionally go on barefoot hikes and I don't miss the snow! Also, my job in tech doesn't mind if I'm barefoot!'

Are you a bad dancer that suffers from two left feet? Fear no more – tech experts at Heapsylon have developed socks which can teach you how to dance, play sports and even walk better in heels.
The hi-tech garments sensors the movement your feet make and relay then via an ankle bracelet transmitter to a smartphone.
Will you take part in this revolution of ‘smart wearables?’ Find out more about Heapsylon and how they function here.
Just a little snippet from The Feet Project follower @barefoot_b0y who lives the barefoot lifestyle. We asked him why he thinks 'shoes are overrated' ' I made a transition to barefoot running 3 years ago, I never expected such an improvement in balance, no more back pain etc. Since then, I'm barefoot whenever possible, it feels so much more comfy. I can't stand shoes anymore!' Check out more from his barefoot lifestyle on his Twitter here - @barefoot_b0y and stay up to date from The Feet Project happenings here @feetproject
Last week we caught up with fashion blogger Clemence who revealed her world of fashion, dance and her relationship with her feet. Check out our interview below:
As you have a fashion blog, that must mean you love shoes! Tell us what shoes you like wearing and why?
Indeed, I really adore shoes! I think my favourite shoes are the boots which I sent in to The Feet Project. Those ankle boots with metal buckles remind me of Michael Jackson and his iconic video of 'Bad'. I feel very powerful with these boots!
You also like to dance as a hobby - what type of dance do you do and how do you use your feet?
I've been dancing for 15 years now. After trying Modern Jazz and Street Jazz, I now practice Hip-Hop. I think feet have the leading role through this type of dance, because they give the pulse to each move you do. Moreover, as I'm really inspired by the MJ way of dancing, I now understand how special feet are - they can create such stylistic effects.
Do you ever suffer from any foot problems because of dancing?
Yes, sometimes my feet do suffer because of dancing. But I see it as a 'positive pain', because it reminds you of all the great moves you've learnt, done and repeated again and again to reach a perfect result.
Do you have any memorable barefoot memories?
I especially love the sensation of putting my feet on a burning ground, in summer. That sensation reminds me of my childhood hanging by the swimming pool with my family. And of course I love to dance barefoot as it gives your moves a deeper and more intense dimension. Clemence has really shown a new light on how important feet can be. Check out Clemence's blog to keep up to date with fashion, dance and lifestyle!
