Star of Teen Wolf’s “The Overlooked”: Derek’s beard
behold the rare and majestic Beard Of Eternal Despair
Send me one of these:
"Don’t you think we should get out of here?"
"Do you think they’re looking for us?"
"I miss the sun."
"It’s so fucking cold in here."
"Are you hurt?"
"What did they do to you?"
"It’ll be okay. We’ll… We’ll be okay."
"This is my fault… I’m so, so sorry."
"… Are we going to die?"
"Where do you suppose we are?"
"I don’t think I can take much more of this."
"You’re hurt."
"Is that blood?"
"I can’t… I can’t b-breathe!"
"We’re screwed."
"Don’t tell them anything."
"Help me!"
“You really think now is the time for me to relax? If you haven’t realized, there is a teenager killing people.”
"You'd be surprised what half an hour can do, Derek. Come for a walk. That's all; then you can go back to saving Stilinski. You'll be more use to him against the nogistune if you've cleared your head and got a fresh perspective."
you don’t think me of all people know it sounds far-fetched? this is a sign of insanity. jesus christ someone call a psychologist.
( he’s kind of used to people avoiding eye contact. but it’s kind of like she’s purposely not wanting for him to stare at her eyes. but he doesn’t question it probably just his wacky mind playing tricks on him again. )
——of course i’m sure! it was probably a hallucination. yeah probably dehydrated or something. or i’m insane that is still the most valid explanation.
you aren't insane.
( the words were blurted out as if she has no control over her mouth. she knew too well what it was like to be labelled insane, and it wasn't something she would wish on anyone. )
just trust me, i know insane, and you're not. i'd go with dehydrated, although i really wouldn't be surprised if you were right about it. beacon hills is a strange place, after all.
( she'd probably said more than she should have dared to, but she glanced up at the other teenager anyway, taking her chances with being recognised. hopefully he was bad with faces. )
Send me 'cuddle' for my muses reaction to yours suddenly sitting next to them and wrapping both of them in a blanket.
[ freezing!
knives in the stomach, claws in the throat, beast lurking inside.
that’s all that this was. he was slowly dying to this curse of constantly changing in and out of that other form. that one that made him forget everything that made him Sam. and right now; he didn’t know where he was. this wasn’t Boundary Wood. this was some back road.
stones cut into the bare pads of his feet, cold wind licking over exposed skin, practically everything. needed clothing and a known place of where he was.
golden hues turned up to the home in front of him.
please. don’t let anyone be home. ]

that was all she had felt for weeks. ever since stiles had become the nogistune. she'd been worrying about him, about the sheriff, about derek and t band of teenagers he cared for like a mother hen.
so she came to the only place she felt came, the place derek had lived when he first came back to beacon— she went home.
she had assumed she would be alone there, but apparently, as had become the norm for the she-wolf, she assumed incorrectly. the scent of another like her wafted to her on the wind, and she tensed in reflex. it wasn't one she recognised—not at all.
who was the strange wolf who dared come near the house that reeked with the scent of the deceased and forgotten?
her head peeked around a charred window inquisitively, but hesitantly. he looked young, perhaps younger than her, surely no older than she. yet looks could be deceiving—that was a lesson she had been taught the hard, laborious way—so she remained in the house, looking out at the wanderer looking in.
"Is there any reason why my name is on the king?"

Darkness.
#derek hale is judging you so hard chris
“How about you stop following me around like a lost puppy and say what you want?”
"I think you need to take a break. Not to South America like Cora, but just relax. I know it seems impossible, but just... just try, alright? For me."

“I see. I’m one for the trouble and anarchy as well. The less monotone my days are, the better.”
A small, breathy laugh escaped the vampire’s lips as she uttered the question. “Well, to be honest, I had unsolved matters to get through with, with my brother… And I ended up liking the town. T’s got its charm.”
It wasn’t a lie: Damon had enjoyed the weather there, loved to confuse the inhabitants of the town with craptons of fog, and liked the peace the place offered - something he had not enjoyed for what?, more than a hundred years ago -, but the main reason for him to stay had a name: Elena Gilbert.
“I’ve lived in a big city before, and I sure as hell loved it, but that’s a story for another time…”, he smiled, taking another sip of his drink as he eyed the woman’s glass. “Good choice in drinks… Uh…”
“I don’t think you’ve told me what’s your name, love.”
“It seems we have a lot in common then—”
She had been a city girl once, at first trying to scrape out a living on her own in New York, then finding herself a pack and staying with them until their alpha was killed and the pack descended into madness over power. Nothing much had changed in that aspect when she returned home to Beacon Hills.
“—Used to live in NYC myself, but I ditched it when I caught wind of family returning back home to our little town in Cali; which, now that I think about it, may not have been my best move.”
After all, Peter was even more manipulative than before, Derek was still the tragic hero who couldn't catch a break, and rather than letting her help, she'd been exiled to some town in the backass of nowhere. A smile plays on the wolf's lips, and she nods in agreement, gesturing towards his glass with a wave of her hand.
“I could say the same for you. It's Jennifer Hale, although Jen's fine with me as well. You? I'm assuming you have some dark and broody name to match your facial features.”
*kisses you* You've caught the kissing disease. Now you've gotta pass it on to the next ten people on your dash.
"—Thank you, kind stranger. Do I get to know your name?”
I'm done with this.

"Hey, look, I told you——it takes a while to get to the house; we’re nearly there," she assured him, gesturing up the hill as she spoke.
"Though whatever the kids have told you, it’s bullshit. The place isn’t haunted, I can guarantee you." After all, it was the house her family had died in—she’d like to think she’d notice if their spirits were lingering around.
"You never told me your first name, by the way; as cool as just calling you ‘Grey’ would be."
