Skin diving was relatively big on TV at the time so I understand the incentive for the book. And yet: A mashup of Aquaman and Challengers of the Unknown… I dunno…

It was edited by Bob Kanigher, capable of looniness exceeded only by Mort Weisinger – looniness counterbalanced by the fact that Kanigher was always able to get himself pretty good artists. And art-wise, what’s here is only the tip of the iceberg. All his books looked pretty good, this run maybe even among the best looking Kanigher books.
