Marilou grin as she looked at him. "Hi Hiei." Her arms behind her back as she hidden the item behind her. Hopefully he won't smell it. "So i knew you don't care for human holidays but here." Holds out the home made chocolates "Don't worry i made sure they where edible." She went through many tears because of that."Ah Happy Valentines Day"

Hiei couldn't help but stare at her. This was... out of the blue. Perhaps not considering he'd heard a lot of other humans going about doing something about this holiday he'd heard of. Valentines Day...? Was that what it was called..? He glanced down at the chocolates that were held out before looking up at her again. "... This Valentines Day is about... bribing others with chocolates...?" It was an odd thing really, he'd heard a lot of these human holidays were basicly about bribery but he wasn't sure what to think about it.

It's December 2nd.

          “Well look at that. It seems that it’s my birthday, however shall I celebrate this year?”

"... You actually bother to celebrate something like that..? Doesn't it get tiring with how old you must be from the rumors about you I've heard..?"

There was very little grace in her entry, for sure, and probably not an impressive first impression- but she was in a hurry. A very panic induced hurry; that ultimately led her to trip over a stump, fall down a cliff, and slide down the sharp rocks and dirt until she slammed into a tree- that had absolutely no business in make her day much worse than it already was. At this point she didn’t even know if what she was running from was still behind her, she just rushed and never looked back.

She was a small woman, ragged looking from running through bushes and whip lashing branches, and red short hair that looked as if it was cut by a crazed barber- more than likely herself. The woman quickly regained herself, her not well practiced senses the demon nearby she looked up from the ground with a snarl before going into stunned silence. Apparently, he didn’t look like the thing she considered an immediate threat.

At this point, Hiei did nothing but stare in silence at the creature that had come out of practically nowhere. It wasn't very..... subtle. If it was trying to escape from something as it's actions suggested it would have a far better chance if it made sure to watch it's own two feet... but then it was likely to run into far more things then it already had. 

The fire demon supposed after a moment however that he shouldn't really be calling the creature an 'it' considering the fact that he could tell it looked like a she... well he basicly could anyway.. not that he was paying attention to that detail as of this moment. He watched her snarl before quickly quieting again and raised an eyebrow. His senses of course were still sharp and paying attention to any possibility of whatever was obviously chasing this one. "... You'd make quite the poor excuse for an assassin..." He commented in boredom, watching for her reaction.

Hiei just stared for a moment at this message before he scoffed, his eyes narrowing in annoyance. "... Whoever this... 'Santa' is... is spreading some rather large lies... and I will not tolerate that. He better hope his outfit is fireproof..." Making these CareBears that he'd heard mention of look selfish... what was this man trying to pull..?

"Hiei!" He mewled in delight.

"... Jiji..?" He raised an eyebrow before humming, just gazing at the cat before him. "You seem... rather content.."

At this point, Hiei simply stood there, watching the world go by as he thought about it in silence. Many things would go through his mind at this point, an example being how strangely complicated a species humans were. There were times that a demon or human performed the same act but among the humans it was immediately an outcry. He supposed however that that might be why a lot of humans considered it negative to be a 'demon'. 

During his thoughts however, he heard the subtle sound of approaching feet and tuned his senses towards that sound, waiting for what they would do before he acted.

"Ah  I see." Kurama states with a slight smile. The red head shifted his weight a bit and moved to the window. ‘Perhaps you should just fight them so they will leave you alone."

An eyebrow was raised for a moment before Hiei shook his head. "... That would just be giving them what they wanted Kurama... and I do not have the time to play with creatures of their level at this moment.." Sure he knew they actually were strong.. but getting him to admit that out loud wouldn't be an easy task.

Short words for a short man, but it didn’t bother her, in fact, on of her best friends doesn’t talk often, and that’s okay.

A small smile crossed her lips as he mentioned the upcoming human holiday. It was a day she herself enjoyed, and suspected that he was talking about all hallows eve.

"Halloween is coming up, yes." She nodded as her hazel eye looked was looking for the words to continue onto the subject matter. What does Hiei even know about this fun holiday? Would he partake in it? Most likely not, a lot of it is for children trick or treating through the streets of their neighborhoods and adults dressing up in a different fashion to get drunk at some second-rate party. "I’m guessing you won’t be dressing up for the event?" Her lip-glossed smile shined in the autumn sunlight.

".... Dressing up for the event...? Hadn't ever occurred to me. Is that normal..?" He hadn't exactly had a lot of experience with the holiday. Was dressing up something that was needed to be done..? He couldn't say he was sure at all. 

He'd heard that young ones went running around gathering sweets to turn themselves into crazed monsters of sorts but he hadn't ever joined in on such festivities.

Kurama continue to smile as he tilted his head to the side a bit. ” It has been awhile. What have you been up to?” the red head asked curiously.

<p>Hiei couldn't help the slight scoff. "Avoiding the Detective and that... idiotic baboon that thinks he might actually be some kind of competition for me.." His voice seemed to imply that he thought Kurama should have guessed as much even if one might be able to tell that wasn't the case.
