If Deltarune was a movie it’d be some obscure direct to video 90s - 2000s movie you could find in a supermarket DVD bin that disappeared from public consciousness after it was released /pos

Kris would basically be a generic animated protagonist who’s just edgy because their parents divorced or something but it’s okay because at the end of the movie Asgore would show up to the house with flowers and Toriel would roll her eyes and say “come here” and then they’d kiss and it’d cut to Kris’ comically disgusted face and Asriel would come back from college and Susie wouldn’t be a mean girl anymore and Toriel would adopt Ralsei somehow and they’d tease a sequel that would never be made.
