I recently rewatched a few episodes of Sex and the City and I couldn't help but wonder and I felt like recreating its vibe in the game.

And just like that... (sorry, I couldn't resist) I made a short in-universe episode that explores the ups and downs of dating in Downtown.

And just like that... I made my own little episode of Sex and the City. This Sims 2 machinima is part parody, part homage to the iconic show

I did not use any reshade. But I do have lighting mods installed. Specifically, I am currently using dreadpirate's edit of gunmod radiance lighting, legacy edition (you can find it here).

Dark Liar Pets Lot and CC List

I have a little spooky quirky gift for you guys. Although I am not officially participating in the Simblreen, I have something that fits the monthly theme quite well, and I've created these "Halloween previews."

May I present to you, Dark Liar Pets

The lot was designated as residential, lacking a bedroom but featuring two bathrooms. However, you can convert it into a home business using the phone or a community lot using the ChangeLotZoning cheat.

Warning: even though the size of this lot is moderate, filling all the fish tanks and bird cages might cause your game to lag or flash pink. I recommend not having too many sims on the lot at the same time.

As always, the download includes a note with cc credits, so you can locate the necessary meshes in case you encounter blueflashing or want the whole set of cc.

good morning, you have some great builds! how do you pick your projects and where do you get inspiration? Do you usually have some backstory in mind or use reference pics?

Thank you so much for the compliment! I am also a big fan of your Sci-Fi project. Your work is a truly unique and significant contribution to the TS2 community!

For my builds, I drew my inspiration from sets in TV shows, movies, or even from my personal travels (like the LaBella Department Store and the Indoor Market I built a while back). These typically lack detailed blueprints or references, making them quite challenging to replicate. But, yes, I use reference pics when I can find them.

My lots are also grouped by themes of the subhoods in my game (yes, I mostly only play one neighborhood, if I ever had time to play at all). Sometimes I like to name the lots after a particular sim or household in my own game (like the Belsky Works and Belsky Labs), and make up some Maxis-like goopy backstories. Although I have some loose storylines for each subhood (intended to be interconnected with each other), I am not confident enough to share them yet. (>.<)
