Ok but imagine if you will.... buddietommy have a threesome near the end of bucktommy that ends up messy for everyone and only confirms to tommy that buddie will happen so the break up happens and none of them are talking with tommy and theyre definitely Not talking abt it w each other either. wait because i'm on the pregnant eddie thing rn, i'd love it if it was him and it's like of cooourse buck and eddie are Not Talking About How They Had Sex. and they're totally not talking about how the reason buck got dumped was because tommy knew thought despite what they said it wasn't just a casual thing. and ofc eddie's not talking about how he feels guilty about breaking up bucktommy and how maybe, just a tiny bit, he misses tommy too. so when he comes out of the bathroom of the station at like 4am when everyone and everything's quiet and hisses to half asleep buck "i'm pregnant" buck doesn't know what to say. just the two of them looking at each other as the silence stretches between them before buck whispers "is it mine?" and eddie sneers "how can i know, buck? you both--" and he stops. silence again before buck whispers again "should we call him?" "no." "what if it's his?" "...maybe" "so should we call him?" "......yeah."

this is how tommy gets a call from either of them after months of silence, really. he sees buck's name, his heart flutters for a moment in a way that'd be dangerous if he was piloting at that moment, only to pick up his phone and hear this rushed whisper of his ex going "eddie's pregnant with our baby" - which turns out be dangerous without even the piloting as tommy almost tumbles over his own feet.
