Bands support bands! A few of us foxes got to enjoy the amazing show Food Will Win the War put on last night in the Bobcat at Paul Smith’s College, and Trolls on Brush Mtn killed the opening too!!!

Cool thing!! Support our efforts to get an online radio up and running at Paul Smith’s College!
Props to all efforts to spread music and ideas.
Amazing show last night at Blinddog Records in Winooski!! Kicked off their first ever in-house live recording concert! Much thanks to openers Trolls on Brush Mtn and Carter Beeson!! Hoping to have lots of super interested audio and video from the show soon. Stay tuned!!!

Look out for an upcoming gig in Potsdam in the next few weeks!!! We think it’s pretty nifty of Dad Culture Records to book us! EXCITING!
4 track album
Old wedding EP, newly available!!! Czech it out
Check it out... Our CD made it into WUVT 90.7 FM’s Americana section! Interesting that they put us in that genre, although it’s virtually impossible for us to agree on a fitting genre even within the band! The description reads: “Former WUVT DJ Blake Parker is a member of this incredibly talented group. Great blends of rustic sounds, gossamer harmonies and delicate melodies to give a fully realized sound.” Thanks WUVT! (And thanks to Marc Secrist for the photo!)
UPDATE - Life is awesome
Sheesh, two great shows this past weekend that sandwiched a WONDERFUL house warming party with WONDERFUL people. Our show at the Radio bean in Burlington VT included less-than-sober audience member Doug fan girling over Mark’s banjo playing and the band in general, not to mention some really great dancing and singing along by the crowd as a whole! House warming party (news flash: we live in Winooski now!!) consisted of card games and a visit from the friendly neighborhood police officers... who have their department offices just down the block we learned... a couple cases of de-fooding, and lots of laughter - with a killer breakfast of eggs, bacon, and french toast the next morning.
The show Saturday at Paul Smith’s Smittyfest was outside in some of the most enjoyable weather conditions we’ve had up North all Spring. Dancing on top of picnic tables ensued, securing this as a definitively “awesome” show as well.
As the semester winds down, I realize more and more how much I’m going to miss the beautiful beautiful group of friends we have the privilege to call the newest addition to our fan base over this summer. I can only hope we’ll have as fantastic of a time together next Fall...
