It was a sad day...
He looked at you with such distress you thought, for a second, that he would collapse. He did. He collapsed right next to you, pulling you to his chest as he started crying for someone to call an ambulance.
Seeing him like this made your eyes water, and thick tears rolled down your face as he kept screaming.
A few people had their phones out, eyes in their eyes as well, crying as they watched the scene unfold.
“Stay with me, Y/n. I can’t lose you too! Please..Please... Just a little longer. You can hold on..” He hiccuped, holding you closer to his chest, a hand on your wound.
You hissed slightly and went to look down when his free hand lifted your chin to look at him, “No, no, don’t look at it… Idiot... You can’t handle the sight of blood, remember?” He asked, laughing humourlessly.
You chuckled softly, the movement making you clench your jaw and swallow thickly. “H/n, no matter what happens to me—”
“No! No… You will make it out alive, and then you can tell me.” Tears ran down his face as he looked at your weak form.
You smiled softly, “No matter what happens… I want you to live on for me, please—” You turned your head to the side and coughed, the wound only seeming to get worse with your movement.
He put his forehead on yours and cried some more, “I refuse to even think of a life without you. I love you…” He pulled his head up and wiped stray hairs from your face.
You didn’t know what to say. The tears and black spots made your vision blur. Then something hit your cheek. Water.
It was raining.
You looked up into the sky. The feeling of a finger wiping the side of your mouth didn’t even make you flinch. You didn’t bother to look at H/n’s face again. It’d hurt more if you did.
Your limbs were going numb, and you grew colder as the rain turned heavy.
“It does rain when someone dies…” You said, your eyes fluttering shut.
“No, no, no no no no no no! Y/n, stay with me! Please, please, god, open your eyes!” H/n screamed, but his voice sounded farther away.
Your body went limp in his arms as he cried.
“Scene!’ Someone shouted.
You sat up and smiled. People cheered and clapped. You turned your head to look at h/n and saw he was still hiccuping.
You opened your mouth to ask what was wrong when he pounced on you and moved his mouth onto yours, kissing you as if his life depended on it. You had your arms on either side of your body, keeping you from fully hitting the soaked ground.
He pulled away and sat up, wiping his eyes.
“H/n… what’s wrong?” You asked finally.
The people around you both had either moved on or were still standing there.
“Doing that just reminded me of how much it’d hurt to lose you, and losing you would take all of me away.”

That night, he wouldn’t let go of you once you arrived back at your one-story house, laying on the bed with the TV playing a movie you didn't care about, his face buried in your chest, fearing you’d disappear if he let you go.
It made you feel guilty, but also made you feel a warmth that spread throughout your body as you held him back. You slept in each other's arms the whole night.
