Hello everyone. I haven't updated in FOREVER but I should probably change that. I have lots of neat new droid stuff like these guys from Batteries Not Included (one of my favorite 80s movies). I put them next to a toy L0-LA since I am pretty sure they influenced the look. Hopefully I'll also remember to post soon about my other addition to the household, Weebles, a wobbly cat.

I rarely get photos with my droids. The BT-1 photo is from several years ago at BeeTee's second event. The Chopper photo is from last month.

Zero was a hit at the Pensacon Halloween Festival yesterday. There were lots of Nightmare Before Christmas costumes. The most adorable was a little Oogie Boogie with his own knitted Zero. There was an amazing Oogie Boogie when I got there. I was talking to a lady about Zero when they walked by but unfortunately I couldn’t break away fast enough and I never saw them again. The Ghostbuster scanned Zero with his PKE meter and said “my readings show Zero. You’re free to go.” and I laughed much harder than any normal person should laugh at a pun.

I've been building Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas. He will move and bark for now. I am thinking about making a new head that will move side to side and have the mouth open.

The DeLorean has gone to the shop for awhile. I'm going to miss seeing her in the yard but at least this way she is getting repaired and is stored properly. While she is gone I am going to work on a nice carport for the cars.

I bought a new toy. She is a 2016 Camaro SS1 with a 6 speed manual transmission. I absolutely love this car.

I was as going to make a video of BeeTee firing on that Stormtrooper with his new weapon but the nerf dart jammed and fried the cheap voltage regulator I installed. Instead you get a video of a happy murderbot showing off his new guns.

Chopper and I attended the John William's tribute concert last week. The audience cracked up when Chop zoomed to center stage and started dancing. He was such a diva backstage.

Chopper is happy to participate in #RebelsRemembered. I miss the show and I’m happy to have joined the fandom with my buddy, Chopper.

Chopper finally got to meet up with his Space Mom, Hera. He was super excited. At some point the glue line broke on one of his arms so it sagged but it went into a perfect karate chopper pose and I loved it. When it happened I said “Well that’s broken. Huh...now it’s perfect for him to sucker punch a kid” and the lady sitting next to me started cracking up. Later, a con-friend (a friend you only ever see at cons a couple of times a year) was sitting across the way. I drove him up to her and the arm was perfect to just keep poking her like Chop does to Ezra on that transport shuttle. We were all cracking up.

Pensacon 2019 was amazingly fun.

Anyone know the significance of this? No? I’ll tell you. This is the first time in history that these three have been together for photos. Doctor Aphra, 0-0-0, and BT-1 met up today at Pensacon and magic (and death and narrow escapes) may have happened. Hopefully you were one of the few that got photos with them.

Chopper is getting a new coat of paint. I really like how the dome turned out this time. There were some paint issues before that really bugged me. Hopefully I get his body done before Pensacon.

I have been working my butt off at the office and trying to get K-9 ready for Gulf Coast Fan Fest. He needed a repaint, rewiring, and a lot of filler to fix cracks in the body. I made it to the event on Saturday and it was a lot of fun visiting with another K-9 and lots of my convention friends. Unfortunately things went south at the very end. I used MDF on K-9, that was a mistake. Do not use it. He was my first droid and I didn’t know better. The bolts for the neck support bracket pulled out of the body and did a lot of damage. I’m not sure how I am going to fix this yet. Hopefully I don’t need to build a new body for him but that might have to happen.

BT-1 decided to join me at work today. He’s celebrating his Doctor Aphra Hasbro set. Side note, having BeeTee behind me is even more nerve racking than having Chopper.
