The name “Cadejo” is thought to be derived from the Spanish word “cadena,” meaning “chain,”. This name fits the black El Cadejo, which always drags a chain behind it. The chilling sound of this chain is said to forewarn those who hear it of the creature’s approach.

One night, a newly-married couple were passing through the park on their way to their honeymoon. It was raining very heavily and visibility was bad.

All of a sudden, the car began to skid. The groom lost control and crashed head-on into the white tree. The impact was so devastating that the bride was thrown through the windshield.

The groom was killed instantly, his bloody body mangled in the wreck. The bride, however, was nowhere to be found. Nobody knows what happened to her. They say that the car was destroyed so badly in the crash that she must have been killed on impact, but her body was never recovered. A Quick Word About AI “Slop” On The Genxorcist

Hello all.

Lately I’ve gotten a little pushback for using AI to create creature images for the entries on The Genxorcist.

I know I lot of folks hate AI but I’m not trying to take work from artists or anything like that. I just want images for each entry without using the same tired ones that have been circulated for years. I also don’t want to infringe on any trademarks or unintentionally steal someone else’s work.

In addition I can’t get real images of the creatures because, um, they sorta don’t exist.

So please forgive the AI. I’m only using it to enhance the creature entries and make this Tumblr a little more fun. No misrepresentation is intended.

It all started on a October night in 1973, when the young Falkville Chief of Police, Jeff Greenhaw, received a call that would change his life forever. He was told about a UFO in a field outside of town. Greenhaw recently sat down for an interview with Red Water Filmworks and shared his story.

At first, he thought he was dealing with "an idiot". But things got weird real quick. He described seeing a figure, slightly taller than 6 feet, wearing a reflective material that he couldn't identify. It looked like aluminum foil, but there were no pieces left behind. The figure's head and neck seemed to be joined together, and the suit changed color depending on the angle of the light.
