He didn't say it was NOT pirated, but the way he acted led me to believe he owned legal copies of vocaloids. In any case, if he did lie, I honestly think he just wanted me to have the vb so I'd be happy, because he knew how much I adore piko. But even if that was his reasoning it doesn't justify the action. Or perhaps I was just blinded by my strong desire to use the VB. In which case yeah I messed up.

But if I knew it was pirated I wouldn't have kept it long

I actually tried to use a pirated fukase once. I never did. He sat there on my desktop and I never opened the software because the very fact that it was pirated was eating away at my conscience and I felt sick to my stomach. I deleted pretty fast.
