Honestly. HONESTLY. I am not proud to be an American. I am ashamed. I live in a country where you can’t even run for president without the votes being rigged and the media choses who wins. I live in a country that consists of 4% of the world’s population, yet we use over 20% of the world’s energy. “Land of the Free”…no, we have 25% of the world’s total prisoners. The second amendment gives us the “RIGHT” to bear arms, yet!!! More than 30 people are shot/murdered every day, and 30,000 people are killed each year in the US every year. Since the U.S. is a capitalist society, the rich get richer and the poor have practically no means to improve financially. It is not a core value of Americans to help everyone be financially secure. We call ourselves the the 3rd most advanced country in the world, yet we are a selfish, rigged place that only cares about ourselves and the rich people on Wall Street getting rich. Oh yeah and not to forget, Donald Trump, a racist, xenophobic rich guy who wants to build a wall around Mexico and deport all of the Muslims out of America is probably going to win the presidential election in November. I am not proud to be an American.
