Lore! As I mentioned, I’ve been working on this comic during my lunch breaks for a few days now! There are lots of lore snippets I jot down for worldbuilding, and usually, I don’t share them but I thought you might like to see a bit more while I work on the game.

There are still more snippets that I’m not sure if I’ll turn into comics (because it’s a lot of work), whether to just leave the written bits, or maybe make a simpler comic to illustrate them. These include:

A little comic this time! Since it’s only two pages, I managed to put it together in my free time the next short stories I’ll leave for the Patreons to vote on!

A while ago, I came across a beautiful piece of art on Tumblr, and it reminded me that you don’t really know what’s going on inside Pierrot’s head, haha. So I wanted to show just a glimpse of it this time, from the perspective of the very first day. Nothing too big, but I hope you enjoy it! Let’s just say their past isn’t exactly pleasant as you can probably imagine.

Here is some fun lore. Remember when I said "they were changed forever, not just in outlook but also in life span and power." The peak of truth grants the person immortality, but also gives them a new form they can turn into at will. Further separating them from common cookies.

This form is also affected by what the cookie sought, and the outlook on said knowledge presented to them. Sage of truth, despite hardship and pain, believes truth and knowledge are worth pursuing no matter what. So his other form reflects that.

Truthless Reclus, on the other hand, feels the exact opposite. He even resents the other form he was given. So he often uses his other form to scare cookies away from the peak of truth, protecting others from becoming like him.
