It’s been a minute. My life is completely stagnant I feel. I have a visa in the works so I can move to Sweden in 1-2 years. I just got a job at a youth homeless shelter, and I’ve been trying to grow my etsy stores... yes I have 2 now! Check them here and here.

Where in Denmark would you recommend for me to visit? Safe places for a visible ethnic minority please, I don't want to bump into trouble

Denmark isn't the most diverse but there are minorities in every city I've been to and the locals aren't bothered at all. Copenhagen is really great, start there.

how did you move like did you just get up and do it?? im in awe honestly. you are living in a whole different country. that's amazing. do you get lonely? what made you move like that? im inspired

In a way yeah I just decided that I wanted to study abroad because this opportunity in denmark opened up for me and the timing was right (i.e. my lease was ending, was finishing my requirements at school, was growing bored at my job, had plenty of money saved, etc.)I’ve been really fortunate in my life with finances but making this move is a lot easier than people might think. I was also offered a scholarship for $2500 from my university to come here because I wrote a basic essay. My rent is the same as it was in jax and I don’t have a car or any of those expenses anymore. Sometimes I crave people but I have a good friend here that I see and my boyfriend is 7hours away by train, so I see him often too. It’s not so bad, but I wasn’t a super social person at home anyway. You can have this too maybe!!Anyway, thanks this was a sweet message, life can be cool if you work it out sometimes.
