Behind the scenes from Saturday’s shoot, “Project Steampunk”! It was definitely the largest scale project I’ve ever worked on, and I’m so glad I got to work with all these lovely people. It’s truly a beautiful thing when a project comes together like this. Corsets and Cogs did an INCREDIBLE job making all these beautiful looks for us lovely ladies to model, each look was truly unique and impeccably made. From right to left, Samantha Trionfo made the industrial steampunk outfit look super femme and sassy, Rebecca Ellis was a daring adventurer, and Nineka Wright was the most regal of queens. I was a sassy Lady of the Court! Can’t wait to see what photographers Tim Brosius and Andrew Key captured! Until then, I’ll be posting more behind-the-scenes photos and videos.

I made another video! This one’s a closer look at the beautiful outfit Corsets and Cogs designed and made for me for our shoot, “Project Steampunk”. 

There’s lots of pretty pretty corset porn, this corset is the same design as my edwardian inspired red velvet underbust in my icon picture, but it’s a 22″ waist rather than a 20″ so it’s still super dramatically curvy, but not quite as drastically so. It’s made of the most lovely brown damask patterned velvet with a slight red shine and shiny gold hardware! The busk even caught an awesome glint in the footage.  And don’t even get me started on the skirt! 14 yards, yes 14 yards of fabric to create all those ruffles!
