I don’t do drugs and I definitely don’t do art
i literally can’t stop thinking about this video and i lose it every time
Lmfao
okay everything about this video is absolute gold:
the fact that the guy argues via the puppet the entire time
the music
“let’s discuss the contradiction”
the overuse of the word “camera”
the way the puppet goes from trying to placate the guy to actively arguing against the guy and like turning it around on the guy
“youre consciously making a conscious choice”
the fact that by the end the puppet is basically screaming and the music is just. so loud.
“YOURE BREAKING THE CAMERA” as the video abruptly ends
What do the wiggles mean?
Wiggling is actually defensive body language! Uromastyx usually do with in combination with inflating their body to make themselves seem bigger. They can do it when spooked or threatened. Wiggling is a Uromastyx’s way of saying “Leave Me Alone Like Right Now”. Their body language tends to progress as inflating->wiggling->hissing->tail lashing->biting.
Fruit Salad here tends to do it at…. everything. Especially me, however I’ve seen him do it at his food and sticks and rocks.
To add a note, Leopard Geckos will do a similar thing with their tails. I have seen my own Leo do it at her reflection in her water, or at new plant decorations.
yes! both are defensive expressions in reptiles. leopard geckos are kinda unique, though, because they have the ability to lose their tail. leopard geckos do it to draw attention to their tail, which they can lose and still live, rather than say, their head. it doesn’t quiet work that way for uromastyx!
“The clitoris is pure in purpose. It is the only organ in the body designed purely for pleasure. The clitoris is simply a bundle of nerves: 8000 nerve fibres, to be precise. That’s a higher concentration of nerve fibres than is found anywhere else in the body, including the fingertips, lips, and tongue, and it is twice the number in the penis. Who needs a handgun when you’ve got a semiautomatic.” —Natalie Angier, Woman: An Intimate Geography artwork by Patrick Van der Elst

“RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!”
One of our awesome volunteers brought in this submarine as enrichment for the octos, and this little sea monster has had a fantastic time sinking the ship, causing chaos, and finding food while doing so! I love the simplicity of this little vessel as a form of enrichment, and the potential it holds for more complicated activities.

By using a camera and computer vision software it is possible to make a fish control a robot car over land. By swimming towards an interesting object, the fish can explore the world beyond the limits of his tank. Via Studio diip
Ugh yes. Give him the tools to rule.
