Shao Tan

Pandaria

Seat of Power Temple of Ji Tan Named for the Lorekeeper that founded the village, the temple acts as the center of discussion for the townspeople, and the sanctified ground where all decisions involving the folk are made; no decision is official until it is said alongside the use of Ji Tan’s gong.

Present Status: Content Seeing little to change for their people in the wake of Alorinis’ rise to nobility, Shao Tan welcomed the empowerment of their greatest contributor, recording the sequence of events in a personal tome for the man. Continuing to conduct their research of history, the College of Shao has begun travel across time itself, the presence of a second Draenor unveiling new possibilities to their recordings.

History Acquisition: 1st Recently unveiled with the rest of the long hidden land of Pandaria, Shao Tan found itself overjoyed to have access to new histories and lands to learn for. Bringing its collegians outside of the village, they traveled across Azeroth in effort to bring back the histories around the world; one fateful collegiate eventually colliding with Alorinis Bloodarrow. Enjoying the notion of a village of historians, Alorinis spoke with the Mayor to broker a deal. In exchange for the funding of their research and creations, the village would allow Alorinis access to their libraries; a deal they were happy to take, seeing as their libraries had always been of public access.

Personal Force Jade Monks Leader: Master Quin Tan Trained in the honed art of the monk within Pandaria, the Jade Monks serve as the bodyguards to the collection of knowledge housed within Shao Tan. Keeping to their cities love of history, each monk is dressed in an attire representative of their personal favorite period of history; their leader, a descendant of Ji Tan himself, dresses as the representation of The Sundering.

Major Trade Export: History Texts True to their origins and following in the footsteps of their founder, some citizens of Shao Tan find an exuberant enjoyment in learning the history of lands they were not connected to and recording it. Working together as a group of historians, the College of Shao Tan accepts clients wishing a particular episode of history recorded, and endeavor to deliver the best possible recording. Import: Jade Believing in the need for beauty to properly retain history, jade has always been an important substance to the people of Shao Tan. Incorporated into their texts, decorated along their buildings, and settled into their attire, it is said you can not walk ten feet in Shao Tan without seeing a jade statue on something or someone.

Facts 1. Founded long before The Sundering that blanketed Pandaria in the mist, the College of Shao boasts itself as one of the oldest centers of learning within all of Azeroth. 2. Lovers of history, Shao Tan’s second most prized possession remains within its subterranean museum; a strange, metallic relic said to be the eye of a Titan. 3. Contenders with the Hozen for land, the Jade Monks find themselves at often odd-ends with their surrounding neighbors, doing their best to keep their people from being tossed off the cliffs they reside on.

Pack Home

Northrend

Seat of Power The Bloodarrow Manor Nestled within the enchanted woods used by the Pack, made to leave the manor unable to find without the wish of the owners, the manor serves as a vacation home to House Alah’ni; as well to serve as a safe house to the family when needed.

Overseer Beta of the Pack Currently the Beta Millena, Mate of Dellingr.

Present Status: Content Still remaining as a sanctuary to House Alah’ni, and the Pack more than welcoming to Alorinis, little to nothing has changed for the wolves of the area. They remain constant in their ways, serving to continue their lives and serve to the needs of their Alpha.

History Acquisition: 1st Following the marriage of Alorinis Bloodarrow and Eleneill Stormwolf, a manor in the Grizzly Hills was erected so she could remain closer to the Pack, Storm Peaks, and keep away from the politics of Quel’Thalas. Through the years it has become a sanctuary to the whole of the family, and friends if needed, serving as a place to keep away the affairs of the world.

Personal Force Main Pack Leader: Beta Millena With no living occupants to the land, save for the family when they take residence, the protection of it is left to the only other tenants, the wolves of the Main Pack. Obedient to their Alpha, Eleneill Stormwolf, the whole of the Pack serves to her needs and their own lives. Bound to Skoll, the Pack finds its main body within Northrend, patrolling the lands between the Bloodarrow Manor and Storm Peak.

Major Trade Export: Nothing Designed on the notion of self sufficiency, the manor exists to break even for its sustenance. In such a manner, it serves with no exports to send out to other lands. Import: Nothing Same to that of its exports, the Pack Home stands as its own system of use and generation of goods. With this in its functions, nothing is brought in to the home for use, all its requirements met by the land itself.

Facts 1. The enchantment woven around the woods of the manor has allowed its grounds to remain untouched by the various camps of orders springing up around the woods. 2. While the Pack consists of wolves, stormwolf and the more contemporary, the wildlife around the woods remains in a positive state of growth; managed by the understanding of the Beta to the main pack. 3. Before the erection of The Grove under Alorinis, the manor served as the only home to the family, allowing them to keep a private and secluded life for the years.

Dar’elah

Kalimdor

Seat of Power The Lady’s Cavern Constructed in the cavern at the back end of Dar’elah, the council which ruled the city utilized the hallowed halls as their meeting center. When not occupied by the Matrons of Dar’elah, the halls remained locked to all but the guards; even then, the central chamber remained only ever entered by the Matrons.

Overseer Council of Loath Currently none remain of the once powerful group of Matrons within the city. The leaders of the most powerful eight houses to the city, these Matrons wielded influence only checked by shadowy rebuttals from their enemies; most often the other Matrons on the council. A varying structure of power, no seat of the council was guaranteed to a Matron and had to be aggressively guarded. 

Present Status: Dead Following the millennium since its calamity, Dar’elah has turned into a a place hidden by lies. Stricken from the meager records that named it within Kalimdor, Dar’elah is now listed as a Thalassian land lost in the war against the Amani with Alorinis Bloodarrow listed as its sole survivor and subsequent owner; the one truth to the record. To the present day Dar’elah remains a ruined structure hidden among the lush forests of Kalimdor by intricately woven magics.

History Acquisition: 1st The birthplace of Everlith Shadowleaf, who would later become known as Alorinis Bloodarrow, Dar’elah prospered as a city in service to the demon lady Loath; their presence made awoken to the demon by the Burning Legion. Working alongside other cities hidden around the world, in service to the Burning Legion, Dar’elah endeavored to bring back the presence of the demon overlords into Azeroth. The city maintained its effort until a calamity struck it, known in records of their sister cities only as the Shade of Dar’elah.

Personal Force Sisters of Misfortune Leader: No one Part of mandatory service within the city, the daughters of every household required to serve for ten years in the defense of its people. Trained in the art of dark magics and demonic rituals, the Sisters of Misfortune served to keep the will of the Matrons going forward. While much smaller than the dangerous demons constantly at their sides, the true fear of the sisters came with their affection and skill with whips that remained to their hands at all hours alongside their darker attitudes.

Facts 1. Reduced to ruins, one part of Dar’elah remains intact, though no longer within Dar’elah, as its mighty tower roams around at the bidding of its owner. 2. Servant to a demon lady, Dar’elah hid its actions from its greater society of the Kaldorei through illusionary magics and darker actions. 3. Once a place of home for demons and their ilk, Dar’elah has since turned to a natural sanctuary under the reclamation of Aessina, the Spirit of the Wilds among the Ancients.

Sha’hir Desert

Kalimdor

Seat of Power Pearl Oasis Hidden among the sands and rocky outcroppings of the Sha’hir Desert, the small but lush Pearl Oasis acts as the meeting ground for the powers of the desert, at other times remaining a hidden treasure of the barren landscape.

Overseer Chief and Sultana of the Sand Accord Currently Chief Num’jin of the Bloodedsand Tribe and Sultana Emilia Absinath of the Wretched Wanderers.

Present Status: Peaceful A desert at the bottom of the world, the people of the Sha’hir are largely unaffected by the changes of the larger world around them, and as such found themselves unphased by the announcement of Alorinis becoming a formal noble of Quel’Thalas; their land did not reside within the Kingdom, so they felt they needn’t care. Wishing their generous patron good luck, and accepting his orders of change in regards to the presence of their personal forces, the Sand Accord continues its vigilance of the barren lands they reside in.

History Acquisition: 2nd A small desert along the southern realm of Kalimdor, the Sha’hir desert was uninhabited and unclaimed by the powers that be of Kalimdor. Usurping ownership without any real proclamations or witnesses, Alorinis began using the desert to his own personal needs. Making an accord with one half of a warring tribe within the Farraki, the Bloodedsand Tribe took up residence within the Sha’hir desert, assuming the role as protectors of the sandy region. Granting the wish of a ranger trainee, Alorinis added Emilia Absinath as a protector among the desert, allowing her to collect all manner of wayward peoples into her nomadic group. While the Bloodedsand Tribe has inhabited the desert for centuries and generations now, the Wretched Wanderers are relatively new to the land; however, the peace between the two groups has been settled, allowing for the creation of the Sand Accord.

Personal Force Justice of Kim’bul Leader: Scalper Voth Tigerblood The elite guard of Chief Num’jin of the Bloodedsand Tribe, the Justice of Kim’bul venerate their patron Loa’s characteristics by mastering a unique form of combat which requires the guards to use their hands and feet, equipped with claw-like weapons, in sequence to perform devastating attacks on their enemies. Exclusively trained in this fighting style, the Justice of Kim’bul often finds the edge over enemies that are new to such an experience. 

Sultanate Leader: Sultana Emilia Absinath A band of vagabonds or escaped convicts, the fighting skills within the Wretched Wanderers has a wild variation from the completely lacking to the overly skilled. Answering to the call of their Sultana, the Sultanate is a hand picked number of fighters dedicated to using the erratic and uncoordinated styles of their members to surprise and confuse enemies, in hopes of disrupting their usual discipline; the only formally trained member of the group is the Sultana herself, trained by Alorinis Bloodarrow as a ranger.

Major Trade Export: Glassware When life gives you sand, you learn to make glass; a lesson the two peoples of the Sha’hir Desert took to earnest. What began as a modest trade barter between the two has bloomed into a well received venture of production. Import: Water With few oases to spare between the desert, the presence of water is a necessity for the continuance of the peoples living among the sands. Water, brought from various sources, remains at the forefront of trade into the outposts created by these wanderers.

Facts 1. A literal wasteland with nothing of status to its name, its few oases not remarkable even, many question to the reason of Alorinis’ ownership of such a strange place, but the man gives no comment to people regarding it. 2. While the Wretched Wanderers remain a nomadic order among the desert, the Bloodedsand Tribe keep themselves within their tented village of Zul’Abaran. 3. Mostly closed off from the world, the Sha’hir desert finds itself a point of interest for their Tol’vir neighbors to the south, mostly in concern of aggression of the denizens of the Sha’hir upon the Uldamese.

Talimth Plains

Kalimdor

Seat of Power Coalition Hall A small, drab building settled among the relative center of the plains, the coalition hall serves as the meeting ground for the coalition of farmers that occupy and manage the plains.

Overseer Coalition of Talimth Currently partied by a number of farmers, but spoken for by Hrathu Everwood.

Present Status: Booming With the calamities befalling Azeroth time and time again, Talimth Plains has become a hot spot for foods to sustain the soldiers of the many wars. Supplying to their owner first, the farmers of the plains have managed to coordinate their productions efforts as a team in order to supply quantities far and wide over Azeroth; one contract with an inn of Shattrath allows they to claim a universal reach of service even.

History Acquisition: 3rd Originally a dry and unfarmable plot of land within Mulgore, Alorinis purchased the land from a family of Tauren farmers that had been seeking to leave to live closer to the bluffs, but not without having value to move with. Rejuvenating the land with his practices as a ranger, following the teachings of Aessina, the land returned over the years to a habitable and fertile soil. Welcoming farmers to share the plains and grow at their leisure, Alorinis turned the once barren patch into a strong community of like minded people.

Personal Force None Leader: N/A Simple farmers, the Talimth Plains has relied heavily on the inherent protection Mulgore offers with its high bluffs surrounding the valley. Relying mostly on stronger family members or the community around them, the Talimth Plains has existed for decades as an free of armed guards; mercenaries have been hired at times, for short periods as needed.

Major Trade Export: Rare plants A farming land, the plains incorporates a number of resources traded between themselves and the markets of Azeroth. The most valued, but smallest quantity, trade out of the plains come from the Everwood Farm and its production of rare plants and herbs; notable for the ability to grow rare species outside of their immediate climate through a select growth process. Import: Seeds Farming is the name of the game in Talimth, and seeds as the start of it all. Whether the farmers are beginning new crops, or preparing a harvest of an old favorite, seeds are at a constant influx to the farmlands.

Facts 1. Claiming and clinging to their neutrality, the plains welcomes farmers of all origins, so long as they will not harbor grievances against their fellow farmers for the sins of their people. 2. An inventive group, the Coalition of Talimth has created new breeds of plants to suit certain needs of clients, and a few just for the fun of discovery. 3. Everwood Farms, under the direction of Hrathu Everwood, sustains a greenhouse on their land, allowing them to create particular growth conditions for special breeds of plants.

Dragon's Reign Province

So, as I said in a previous post, a friend of mine recently put the final kibosh on this WoW playing. He hadn’t played for the better part of the last year, on for occasional events that lasted a week or two, then would vanish. Yesterday we were talking and he decided he is utterly done, unless WoD makes some big killer deal for Sin'dorei; he’s a racist like that. I told him it doesn’t look for WoD to have much to care for Sin'dorei, so he is probably gone forever to ESO. So, this is the finality for his RP on WoW, and how his stuff is being worked with his being gone.

In the wake of the death of Lord Vynlarion Highcrest VI, and the departure of Lord Adrynar Highcrest II and House Highcrest, the lands of the Sin'Redar province of eastern Quel'Thalas have been left to the entrustment and ownership of myself, Alorinis Bloodarrow.

To honor the memory of Vynlarion Highcrest, often called the Dragon of Quel'Thalas, the lands shall be renamed as Dragon’s Reign province, with the town of Highcrest Village acting as its capital.

The rich mining lands and mountains of the valley, hereforth called Dragonspine, shall be mined and worked by the Dragon VI mining company of the Bloodarrow Estate.

The rich forest, now named Lathinal’s Garden, shall be tended and worked by the Azureheart Herbology firm of the Bloodarrow Estate.

The farmland of the province, to be called Adrynar’s Grove, shall be tended and raised as a vineyard by the Sun Ray Wine company of the Bloodarrow Estate.

The homes and settlements of the lands shall be assessed for living condition viability and need. Those found viable shall be remodeled and refitted for occupancy, and those found unviable or unneeded shall be demolished or refitted as Thalassian bunkers. All actions of this regard shall be performed by the Dragon VI construction company of the Bloodarrow Estate.

The libraries of the province shall be emptied and congregated to the new town of Sunglow Village, and be used towards the education of persons attending the to be constructed Highcrest Academy for Knights and Strategist.

The family grave site, to be named Heart’s Rest, shall be named as a sanctuary within the province. It shall rename untouched by any changes or personnel for a one-hundred yard radius from its outlying gates, and guarded by no less than six guards at all times.

The vault of House Highcrest shall be sealed by myself personally, and be left untouched as a sanctuary hidden within the lands.

By right of ownership, I shall name Ervyn Dawnstorm as Lord of Dragon’s Reign province. Entrusted with the management and protection of the lands and people, he shall enjoy all benefits of lordship in Quel'Thalas along with the commencement of his House Dawnstorm. Notice of Defense and Evacuation

Citizens of The Grove.

Our world is again brought to a time of terror and hardship, beset by dangers that we had thought gone. The Burning Legion is returned to Azeroth, and again they are decided upon the destruction of our world. These are threats we know can not be ignored. We must act swiftly in response to the news that has come from the Broken Shores and the reports of invasions across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdom. As the Grovekeeper I worry for my people, and must act to do all I can to insure your safety.

The invasions of the Burning Legion follow no pattern that we can discern, and we can not say when or if they will ever reach Quel’Thalas itself. While our magic may defend us we have learned before that it is not impregnable, and we would be foolish to act as such. All citizens of The Grove should begin to pack all their important belongings and be prepared for travel immediately. All people should vacate their homes in favor of the protection of the defensive structures found within all of the lands. Those of Quel’Thalas may turn to the mountain fortresses hidden within Storm’s End and Mount Belore, and to the Flameborn ships of the Ashlands. Those of Quel’Athillien should turn to the direction of her majesty, Rennali Sunwhisper, and do as she is instructing for the safety of her people. Those of my people in Kalimdor and Pandaria, I urge you to seek the safety of our protections built near your lands, and follow the direction of your leaders as I have entrusted them.

Those capable of fighting are called to arms. The Grove Wardens are called into service to protect the people and lands of The Grove, under direction of their Warden-Supreme. The personal forces of my lands are to follow the direction of their entrusted leaders and families, but I expect my leaders to protect their people before themselves. This is a time for trained fighters that are prepared for war, not a time for those inexperienced to thrust their life in danger when it is not warranted.

We shall fight back against the Burning Legion with all of our strength, but I must have my people remain strong as they wait. You must be ready to do all you can to stay safe, even if it means that you must flee your homes if we are not victorious. We will do all we can to defeat the Burning Legion, on the field of war and in our hearts.

Serenity. Passion. Growth. Alorinis Bloodarrow

The arrival of Emberwalkers in the northern villages bordering the Ashlands began not long after the engagement of the Matriarch Adrya Blackdawn to the Ranger-Lord Alorinis Bloodarrow was announced. Pale haired speakers who braved the Blackdawn flame spread the praises of the flame and their long passed ancestors with pale haired guardians. These, they called Adjutants. The Adjutants and the Firewalkers holy union was meant to mirror the existence of the Matriarch and the Hammer of the Witch. One cannot exist without the other, so they say.

With them they carried embers to gift to the villages willing to accept the Flame and its embrace as their guardian. Any who did so were encouraged to offer up prospective Emberwalkers and Adjutants to train within the Ashborn Halls, so they might return to tend their homeland. Such forward conversion has sometimes been met with violence. Light-worshiping communities have found the worship of the Flame and its connection to the dead a heresy.

There have been others who found comfort in the thought that magic, not faith, would reunite them with their loved ones after their passing. It is said that some members of these northern communities have parted from their villages only to return changed, and many believe that they took the blessing of the Fire in secrecy.

The people of the Ashlands may not yet be ready to accept the yolk of Alorinis Bloodarrow as their lord, but they were more than willing to gather his people into their burning arms.

The news of their strange and reclusive kin to the south spread throughout the whole of The Grove quickly. Tales of the strange pairs carrying embers and treating them as gifts became a spark of conversation for all manner of folk within the forming lands.

Closest to the Ashlands, the Riverlands took to heart the message of the Firewalkers and Adjutants. The poor people took comfort in idea that their ancestors watched over them and would offer respite from the hardships of life. The ideals of the dead not being taken from them absolutely warmed their soggy bones and brought hope against the way of life under their greedy leadership.

The Blessed Plains met the Firewalkers and Adjutants with hostility and shouts of heresy. Long had the Light reigned over their people, and regardless of what their Speaker had decreed, they were not ready to hear the tales of another force of faith. Stones and prayers flew through the air towards those that brought the gifts from the south, turning them away at the borders of every village; nearly bringing blows between the guardian Adjutants and villagers, if not for the Grove Wardens. The only warm reprieve the travelers found was at the very home of the Speaker, who welcomed them in to hear of their Flames, even if she did not commit to the blessing just yet.

The Silver Ridges took the travelers as curiosities more than gift givers. The idea of a magic that stretched into even the afterlife to allow communion with the dead and gone was a feat of ingenuity to them. Diligent students of magic, some took the blessing of the Flame to better understand it and try to harness it’s magical power. Others wished to study the properties of the magics and what they followed, though were reluctant to sublimate themselves to the traditions and laws of the people. Some remained unimpressed but respected the magic for the sake of it being magic.

Mount Belore saw the southerners are strange people at first but soon its outlying villages heard the messages and spread them. It was not long before the Firewalkers and Adjutants were welcomed into every village and bastion across the great mountain. The people of Mount Belore welcomed the notion of more power gained through some manner of magic and faith, being able to bathe in a flame and feel themselves strengthened against what once weakened them. The only place they did not find a strong welcome was along the Burning Hills, where the religious son of the Highlord would welcome nothing but the Light to his lands.

Dragon’s Reign Province saw the Flame as a trivial respite to the hardships they had begun to endure beneath House Manastorm’s untrained reign. Highcrest Village took to the embers as a novelty, treating them as peculiar objects to decorate the alleys and village centers, though some welcomed the Flames into their hearts quickly with the blessing. Others took the Flames with trepidation, placing more faith in the guidance of House Blackdawn and the hopeful connection between the two acts.

Sin’Malanore turned their nose up at the travelers and their Flame that reached the dead. They saw those who had died as people that lost the duel with Life, and were not worthy or needed for contact. The act of bolstering oneself against the pains of the past came as cheating in their minds, a foolish attempt at forgoing the pain they would earn in a fair duel. The Firewalkers and Adjutants found little in way with the people, though a few opened a firepit for them after unexpected duels with the Adjutants that favored the southerners.

The Laws of The Grove

Leadership The Head of House to House Alah’ni, called as the Grovekeeper, shall act as the final and absolute authority within The Grove, second to no other person, group, or act within the lands of The Grove. The Grovekeeper shall oversee the finality of any and all matters affecting the whole or individual parts of The Grove. The overseer of every land and order shall sit upon an advisory council to the Grovekeeper, called as the Congress of the Grove. The Congress of the Grove shall act to handle all matters within their individual land or order, and direct these matters upon the decision made by the Grovekeeper. Seats upon the Congress of the Grove shall always go to the overseer of the particular land or order, unless the overseer is unable to attend or speak for their lands, at which point a speaker may so be named. Individual lands and orders shall be governed by an overseer, appointed by the edicts of succession of the individual land or order, unless the Grovekeeper deems otherwise. The internal concerns of each land or order shall not be interfered with by the Grovekeeper unless they should find the concern to be harmful or ill-present to The Grove itself.

Armed Forces Every overseer and family to each land or order shall be permitted to hold one personal armed force to see to their protection at all times. This armed force may not exceed necessary size, as determined by the size of the group they will exist to protect; no more than three armed persons per individual member being protected. All matters of the protection of the overseer family will fall under jurisdiction of the personal force, but they shall have no authority outside of such matters and must answer to the official armed force of The Grove. The official armed force of The Grove shall be the unified force of the Grove Wardens, dedicated to the protection of the entirety of The Grove, and overseeing all matters of security, defense, and peacekeeping for the people of The Grove. The leader of the Grove Wardens, called as the Warden Supreme, shall oversee all operations and sit upon the Congress of the Grove as representative of the order. Grove Wardens shall protect all interests of The Grove both in Quel’Thalas and without, following their ethics and guidelines. The protection of the people of The Grove shall always act as the highest priority to the Grove Wardens. The arming of oneself in desire of personal protection or combat improvement shall always be allowed.

Citizenship The Grove shall not concern itself with matters of lands of birth, but only of loyalty to a land. So long as a person may prove themselves loyal to the land of Quel’Thalas, regardless of their land of birth or blood, they shall be welcomed within The Grove; respectful to the limits ordered by the authority of which respective land of The Grove resides in. Travel within The Grove shall be open to all citizens, so in respect to the lands they travel through.

Inherent Rights All citizens of The Grove shall be entitled to inherent rights of their living, and provision of these rights shall always be as the burden of the Grovekeeper. No status of The Grove may suspend the provision of these rights, and no limits may so be placed upon them. It shall always be the status of The Grove to insure its citizens have, at the bare minimum, these inherent rights. All people of The Grove have the right to shelter, so that no one need sleep or live outside. All people of The Grove have the right to food, so that no one need go a day without eating. All people of The Grove have the right to protection, so that no one need live in fear of harm. All people of The Grove have the right to training, so that no one need live dependent on others. It shall always exist as the burden of the Grovekeeper to provide these rights to the people of The Grove without fail, and with expending all necessary power to perform such an act.

Trade and Taxation All lands and orders of The Grove shall exist in a trade agreement with one another, maintained for all internal traffic. There shall be no tariff to cross internal borders, nor transport charge across terrain requiring guides. All trade prices shall receive a five-percent reduction for other members of The Grove. External trades shall be governed at the mercy of the overseer to the individual land or order, but lay subject to termination or alteration by the Grovekeeper if found ill of form for The Grove. All lands and orders of The Grove shall submit two-percent of total trade value per month to the coffers of The Grove. These taxed values shall be put forth solely to provisions for the people of The Grove, in assisting to provide their inherent rights.

The Crest of House Alah’ni Past and Present

In the origins of House Alah’ni, the people marked themselves with a phoenix growing from the ashes and flames of their enemies, promoting the ordinance of ‘Growth in the Darkness’ that lead the House for generations. This cruel and vengeful symbol steered the people of Dar’elah into countless acts of depravity under the guise of retribution of past wrongs.

With the taking of control by the last heir to House Alah’ni, Alorinis Bloodarrow, the crest of the people has changed to a new ordinance. The simple image of a tree growing by the riverside now promotes the concept of a natural progression of affairs unto House Alah’ni, the allowance of events to occur in the manner most suited to betterment of the world around them. ‘Serenity. Passion. Growth.’ House Alah’ni strives to uphold a status of serenity upon all matters that may come within their works, a passion towards all that they may dedicate themselves to, and a continuance of growth within their lands and people.

May all of House Alah’ni, and those that make alliance with them, hold to the same tenants, and remove the notions of the old.

Alorinis Bloodarrow Grovekeeper of House Alah’ni

I got my sigil commission from zyralith and it looks great! She was unsatisfied with how digital art was turning it, so she actually hand painted it so it’d look more like the sigil on fabric or metals. This is the sigil you’d see on all Grove Warden armor, all forms of money within The Grove, and on banners representing House Alah’ni.

Got the house rules done for Alor’s resurrected noble house. After talking with berenal mostly, he helped me figure out that it’s not very common for someone to write rules to their own family, but Alorinis always prefers to have paperwork set in stone. This stuff’ll appear at Alorinis’ court hearing to be recognized formally, and submitted into the court records to keep a preserved copy there. May do more editing before that actually goes down, but it’s the start at least.

The Edicts of House Alah’ni

Inheritance All children of House Alah’ni, those by blood or adoption to the Head of House, are given equal access to the wealth of House Alah’ni. Before their twenty-fifth year, all matters of use of the wealth for the children shall be governed by the Head of House. After their twenty-fifth year, in order for the children of the house to gain access to the wealth, they must present to the Head of House a contribution to the power of House Alah’ni; this may be in the form of land, title, business, or skill that will allow House Alah’ni to grow stronger for it. Judgement of the beneficial nature of the contribution lies solely with the Head of House, and may not be contested nor changed by any other member to House Alah’ni.

Religion No one religion may be named as the main religion to House Alah’ni, all members of the family are free to practice any and all religions before them without fear of reprimand from the family. No member of the family may debt or impose another family member into a religion. Attempts to establish a religion as the sole religion to House Alah’ni is punishable by the terms set by the Head of House.

Succession Upon the death, or stepping down, of the Head of House, House Alah’ni shall recognize the new Head of House officially one week following the event. Before the event occurs, the Head of House should name a successor of their own choice; if this is not done before the death of the Head of House, succession shall follow according to this edict. If spouse of the deceased Head of House live, they will be appointed the new Head of House. If no spouse remain living, the children of the Head of House must elect one among themselves to undertake the position of the Head of House. If no children of the deceased Head of House live, the position shall be addressed to the oldest living relative of the deceased Head of House.

Children House Alah’ni does not recognize the concept of illegitimate children. Any child, regardless of the circumstances of their birth, is recognized in full capacity as a child of House Alah’ni and considered as to be part of the family. The station of one, or both, of the child’s blood parents is not a point of concern to House Alah’ni, any child of blood relation to, or adopted by, a member of House Alah’ni will be accepted without contest.

Marriage Arranged, or other forms of forced marriages will not be recognized as legitimate within House Alah’ni. Any practices of marrying children for benefit to the family, for placating of another house, or for any means not out of choice of the child, are banned within all arrangements connected to House Alah’ni. Illegitimate marriages performed may be sundered immediately by the Head of House upon reporting of their occurrence.
