“Oh, no, I’m not helping you get out that osik. That’s on you.”
“Really, Tari?” He asked with a shake of his head, “Fine, I will do this myself, and when I get into trouble? I will just blame you.”
“A little company never hurt anyone.” she purred, stepping closer.
“While that is true.” He managed to get out lightly, “I doubt you would need mine.” Of course, he ended up fumbling on the next words he was going to say as he tried to gulp down his fear, “Wyndel will be coming back soon... I don’t need him getting upset.”

Now that Anakin had gotten aboard Wyndel’s Jedi cruiser he was amazed. However, he was a little put off by his Captain. Something seemed off about Slick and he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
Of course, they had an altercation, and that’s when a knife ended up in his shoulder and he cried out in pain.
@herowithmuchfear
A deep breath escaped his lips as he ended up twisting the blade into Anakin’s shoulder --- Why did his General have to pick up trash off the damned planet? He didn’t like Anakin --- just being around him made him angry and he couldn’t deny that he wanted him dead.
However, he knew that killing him wouldn’t be the best move, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t make sure he learned his place on the cruiser, “Remember, the moment Wyndel wants you gone? You will be thrown out an Air lock.”
@thehiddenenemy
“Trooper, is there something I can help you with?” Oona asked. Something felt off about him, she felt like she should know, but she couldn’t quite place it.
Slick grunted, he always disliked working around Jedi --- even more these days since the so called situation with Ventress, but he doubted anyone would be looking for him, “I’m... looking for someone.” Of course, that was all he could get out even though he didn’t like anyone calling him the name of Trooper.
Ventress smirked as she stepped towards Slick. “Now, why would I want to ask when I can simply show up unexpectedly?”
“Due to the fa---” He ended up cutting himself off with a grunt, “I’m... I didn’t think you would be here. I was hoping for a night by myself.” Or with someone I can buy for the night.
“Of course I have my lightsaber, Slick. But I’m not killing anyone for you. Why not just use your own kriffing blaster?”
“Do you really want that answer, Tari?” He asked with an eyebrow lifted, “Just get my back --- it can’t be that bad, but if you want me to? I won’t even use my blaster. I will just ask nicely.”
“Well? How about it, Slick? You steal the credit from some poor shabuir?”
“We both know I could do that, Tari. You just have to make sure no one is watching and if all else fails? You... wouldn’t happen to have a light-saber on you... just asking.”

@nervousmando
Well, he wasn’t expecting it to happen --- All he was doing was talking about sending Rex to Wyndel for a bit of fun. Though most knew exactly what that meant --- it was the simple factor that he wouldn’t come back with out something happening to him.
Truthfully, that was what Slick wanted --- he had never liked Rex, and he continued to not like him no matter what. They might have been Brother’s, but they never got along. As such, a deep breath escaped his lips as the knife was plunged into his stomach by Tari, “You know, I should have expected that... from a Traitor.”
Send me 🔪 to stab my muse.
@viigiilant
RUNNING, that was all he seemed to do these days since he had gotten out of the GAR, if it wasn’t running from Jedi, it was from his own Brother’s, and he had had just enough of it. Yes, he didn’t want to hurt them, but they were in essence SLAVES to the Republic, and that in essence was the very FOUNDATION of what he hated most of all.
However, he had to PUSH those thoughts out of the way, and keep them there as a deep breath escaped his lips. He shouldn’t have gone this far --- not with out the person he WORKED for near him, but he wasn’t good at following ORDER’S that he DISLIKED.
“This isn’t what it looks like.”
“You know what? Yes, I want to know the answer.”
“No, you don’t want to, Tari. Trust me on this --- I may be a Clone, but I also know how to do several things. Such as... obtain some credits.”
@betrayed-nightsister
“You know, Ventress. If you wanted to see me, you could have just asked, but it does seem like times change, yes?”
@hiranishala
“Good.”
There was no more really to be said on the matter. They both had their feelings about the war and about the Army, possibly more similar than either could understand, but in this moment…. It wasn’t a priority.They could deal with it when they were safe.
Pressing her ear cone to the door, Hirani waited a few long moments, gauging the lingering silence, before sucking in a deep breath and focusing her mind on the flow of the Force. It was everywhere, of course, but really feeling it made drawing into her own control. She exhaled, concentrating on bending the light around them, and the air shimmered slightly as they both disappeared from view. She turned slightly towards the clone, who even she could not see while under the Cloak.
“As I said, stick close. I can’t extend this very far and I’d rather not need to use that blaster.”
Finally, she opened the door and slipped out, fully expected Slick to follow, and to stick close as she suggested, because…. Well, otherwise, he would be in more trouble than she would be, given she was the one providing them cover.
There wasn’t really much to say after the fact --- they both needed to get out of there and the best way to achieve that simple matter of fact was to do what was needed. In truth, that was simply sticking to the Force user as instructed.
Yes, he could have disobeyed the instructions, but getting out of there was the best course of action not just for Slick, but for the both of them. As such, a moment passed, and then another as he gave a nod towards her. She might not have been able to see it, but it was still there none the less, and hopefully everything would turn out decently.
Well, that was what he thought as Slick followed her as closely as he could, and actually hoped that the both of them would get out not just alive, but in one piece. After-all, if it wasn’t the Droids that would get a hold of them, it could be something far worse, and he wasn’t willing to think about what that far worse would be.
“I’m the HIDDEN enemy.”
@nervousmando
“Neither of us have any credits, Slick. How are you planning on taking me out to eat?”
“Do you really want the answer to that, Tari?”
