Kanan stared for what was probably an impolite amount of time. It was like seeing a ghost. The Grand Inquisitor was dead, and yet--

No, wait. Upon closer inspection, this wasn’t the Grand Inquisitor at all, but simply another Pau’an. Well, in his defense, they looked strikingly similar; there were slight differences in facial structure, but otherwise they looked the same. 

Kanan coughed, realizing he was still staring. “Uh, sorry, I thought... thought you were someone else.”

Kanan let out a sound of protest, his hand going to his blaster out of reflex. However at her words he almost knew what she meant. Not that it was something he wanted to acknowledge. However, he gave a small nod at her request...but could he trust her?

Kanan rubbed at his chin a little awkwardly, “I’m not admitting to having hermit crabs in my room. But, don’t those seem a little innocent?” He asked. “I mean, they don’t have fur or anything for people to be allergic to.” He said. “They’d be totally reasonable dorm pets, that’s all I’m saying.”

It couldn’t be possible. How could it even be true, how did Rey even up here. In the middle of the rebellion against the Empire. Something she had only heard stories about on Jakku. Never would she had thought the Force would throw her in this. “Hello? Is somebody out there?”

RUNNING, that was all he seemed to do these days since he had gotten out of the GAR, if it wasn’t running from Jedi, it was from his own Brother’s, and he had had just enough of it. Yes, he didn’t want to hurt them, but they were in essence SLAVES to the Republic, and that in essence was the very FOUNDATION of what he hated  most of all.

However, he had to PUSH those thoughts out of the way, and keep them there as a deep breath escaped his lips. He shouldn’t have gone this far --- not with out the person he WORKED for near him, but he wasn’t good at following ORDER’S that he DISLIKED.

              --Adi rarely got the chance to sneak off from her duties to the Order.                 She was a respected Jedi Master and a member of the council.                 When she did get the chance, she would sneak off to see her.

                 Under the mask, Kayo’s skin was soft. She placed a hand on                  her cheek. A gentle smile made it’s way onto her face.

                     “ I’m glad you came...”

The other carried the unmistakable gait of a saber-wielder, which ordinarily would have meant Zam would keep her distance, but their posture was damaged, almost broken. And besides, the two had basically walked into each other. Seeing the saber hilt at the other’s waist, the spot where Zam’s metal arm met her skin burned slightly, and she reached her other arm across her chest to grab that spot and assuage the sensation.

“Sorry bout that,” she muttered. “Shoulda been paying attention.”
