The bells of Notre Dame were truly breathtaking, especially this close up. The sound of rustling feathers, much louder than any common pigeon could make, accompanied Hope's movements as she hopped from one support beam to another as she made her way with wings helping to slow her descent towards the floor of the bell tower. On each beam she paused a moment to admire different bells as she came to them. Golden sunlight and shadows cast across their surfaces made ever-interesting shapes. How long had they been here? Who made them? And for that matter, how did they even get these huge things up here?

She stopped again once her feet touched the aged wooden floor, and craned her neck to look up at all of those giant bells from below. It was just as beautiful, but at the same time intimidating. Had she not seen the sturdy rope bindings herself she would have worried about one falling.

The sound of uneven footsteps caused her head to snap back down, looking in the direction they were coming from. Someone was coming this way! She mentally cited herself for letting her guard down up here. It would be one thing to be seen by townsfolk on the streets far below. It would be a different thing altogether to be found looking as she did by some religious caretaker. She'd been mistaken for a heavenly messenger too many times for one lifetime, and she wasn't keen on having it happen again. Quickly she ducked behind a gargoyle perched nearby and shifted. When she stepped back out into the open the large, fiery orange feathers and wings were gone, leaving her looking like any other teenager would.

"Hello? Who's there?" She called out.

Now hopefully they wouldn't ask how she got up here without anyone noticing.

So. It's not easy for me to resort to this, but I've not got a lot of options right now. My laptop ended up freezing and shutting down the night before last, and hasn't xome back on since. None of the fixes I've been able to try myself have worked. Without my laptop I've got no way of making any money, so I'd like to ask for aid.

Perhaps if Clopin had gotten to her sooner he would have gotten more of Hope's coin. As it was, the teen had spent the better part of the day giving away what limited funds she had. No beggar or performer she'd passed had been ignored, no matter their appearance or the murmuring of the townsfolk around them. She'd even practiced a bit of her magic earlier (discreetly, of course) to help someone fleeing the guards. A well timed 'accident' saw someone's horse spooking and bowling the poor man over, right into a puddle. By the time they recovered and got back to their feet the 'Gypsy' they'd been chasing was long gone. Honestly it served them right- Hope had been in this city scarcely two days and she'd already gained a deep loathing for the overly religious law enforcement here. Regardless, these were the circumstances that brought her here, to this moment with a lithe, brightly-dressed jester speaking to her and- stealing from her?! If he wanted her coin he could have just asked.

She feigned disinterest in the coinpurse the jester now held, instead looking down to the pouch of 'common' river rocks. She picked through them carefully, golden eyes scanning over every stone with interest.

"Well, monsieur, I think you may want to check that coin purse that has found its way into your hands." She replied calmly, her movements halting for scarcely a second as something in the pouch caught her eye. "My purse holds scarcely three coins in it. The rest of that weight is naught but simple seashells."

From the pouch in her hands she pulled a rough, plain-looking stone about the size of her palm. It didn't appear to be anything special, but...

"While I would at least like the purse back, I think three coins and and a handful of seashells is a fair trade for what you've given me here." She smiled, and with one precise THWACK against the brick wall of the building she stood beside, the rock split into three parts, revealing a deep blue interior of sparkling gemstones; an Azurite geode, which promptly disappeared into her bag of holding.

"Consider it a lesson from me, monsieur, appearances can be deceiving."

Random thoughts this morning:

Hope's Inventory in BotW/TotK Hyrule (in addition to her normal inventory) would look a little something like this;

Gerudo Shield

Gerudo Vai Outfit

Goron Spice (Amount Varies)

Spicy Peppers (As many as she can get and/or carry)

Assortment of various fish, fruits, and veggies that changes depending on what area she's traveling through.

The shield is something she picks up in Gerudo Town along with the Gerudo Vai outfit (at the insistence of a very persistent shopkeeper). She works hard to keep the shield maintained so it won't break, and uses a little bit of mending magic to help with this.

The sword, the Feathered Edge, is something she picks up in the Rito Village after an encounter with monsters that nearly ended in her death. Similarly to the shield she works hard to maintain the blade, though she only uses it for self defense. The Snowquill set is a necessity for Hope in the colder areas of the land, as she's more susceptible to the cold than others.

Hope probably ends up on at least neutral terms with the Lizalfos, as with her magic she can communicate with them, and is more than willing to share her catches after she goes fishing. At some point she gets gifted a spear by a younger Lizalfos, which she now uses interchangeably with her fishing rod to get food.

Lastly, Hope is great at cooking over a campfire, so she tends to keep ingredients in her pack in bulk. The three that remain constant are Rock Salt, Gerudo Spice, and Spicy Peppers. The former two she considers essential for seasoning meals, and the latter she tends to snack on. She'll usually head towards a town the moment she notices that she's running low on any of those things.

As an aside, Hope is far more resistant to the heat than the average Hylian, and when she visits the Goron City and its surrounding area she doesn't require a Flamebreaker set or Flame Resist potions. At most she adds an extra enchantment to her clothing to prevent it from catching fire in the intense heat.
