Happy/Happiness-

Such a simple word but so complex and many are on this journey to find it.

I’ve been trying to find my happiness and it’s partially complete. My kids take are a substantial piece of my happiness but I need to find happiness within myself.

I know what happiness isn’t — it’s not coming home to your significant other and walking by each other without checking on each other.

Happiness is not being flirted with and complicated because “you’ve been married for to long and can’t do it as if we were just dating.”

Happiness is not touching the other person, speaking on random acts of gratitude and Knowing the love languages of the other.

Happiness is not being able to talk to your other without stepping on eggshells.

Happiness is not going one round in bed because you can’t go or want to go another even when your partner is not close of haven’t reached their climax.

Happiness IS.. self love, loving my body the way it is, working on my body to get it the way I LIKE. Hiking and going outdoors and Spending time by myself and with the kid’s.

Currently on the way to find my happiness....

This past weekend, I went on a girls trip to Puerto Rico. My favorite event of the whole trip was hiking El Yunque rainforest. We encountered many stray animals which is a norm for Puerto Rico

It was truly the most beautiful experience ever. Hiking though the rainforest, listening to the coqui, feeling the natural clay from the walls of the rainforest and did I mention is started to rain! We walked though the pouring rain and it wa as completely different experience. I never felt more in tune and connected to nature. We edventually reached a waterfall and count resist taking a swim.

The trail we hiked was Britton tower trail which wasn’t a long trail (0.8miles) with an elevation of 3,043 feet left us on top of the clouds.

My name is Jade! 

I’m a graduate student studying towards getting my masters in Speech Language Pathology.  I am a mother of two amazing kids, Atticus (9m) and Aurora (5yrs) and they are my whole world. I love traveling when I can and hiking. 

I love food ad especially cooking food. My obsession right now is the Japanese dish Millie-Feuille Nabe. (A dish that includes Napa, pork belly and Japanese Aswai soup base) It’s delicious!
